The Democratic party continues its bold stand against hateful rhetoric, such as the C-word, this time in Alabama:

Now, if every Republican officeholder is expected to comment on and denounce Rush Limbaugh for using the S-word, why isn’t every Democratic officeholder expected to comment on and denounce Bill Maher for using the C-word?
“Oh, he’s just a comedian.” No, he’s a Democratic-party fundraiser. Maher donated $1 million to Obama’s SuperPAC.
Why is one acceptable, to the point where Maher is still welcome to headline fundraisers, but Rush is supposed to be persona non grata?
This is why I do not donate to the RNC. Where are they in supporting what is right and true?
Why doesn’t the GOP run a tv ad airing the MAher clip? Or was it not on tape?
A double standard is the only standard RATS have.

Hopefully the locals will be out with picket signs. This man is vile! That Alabama Democrats would allign themselves with this worm says all you need to know about that party in that state.

I am too and I've always been partial to floozy.
Wealth-wise, Maher is a non-entity. $1m is probably 10% to 20% of his wealth. And yet the guy ponied up. Compare that with the GOP billionaires. People who donated a few million dollars, and preen about it. If GOP tycoons continue to be this tight-fisted, and we're outspent 3 to 1 as in 2008, Jesus Christ could show up and we'd lose.
REALLY bad idea. Maher is a very polarizing figure and this could well backfire on them.
