The SPLC, formerly a civil rights organization that did wonderful work, has become nothing more than a hard-core leftist group, using its former reputation to smear groups that don't toe the leftist line. It's really no different than the ADL or the NAACP, both of which used to do good things, but are now nothing more than leftist front groups used by the left to smear conservatives, as well as raise money for the DNC and other leftist causes.
