Wonderful.

BTW, is it really hacking, when we get 90% of our computer equipment from China, with likely embedded access.

If one thing makes more more nervous than our insane national debt, it is all our equipment coming from the Chi-Coms.

At 200 million a copy, give them the plans, they will go broke building it.

They can probably build them for 2 million per copy, then sell them to us for 50million each.

Publicity has been rampant recently. Of course, we can’t forget their favorite helper (The internet).

These losses are for no reason other than convenience. If you want security you use the sneaker net and wall off your internal network. There is no other way to assured of security.

If you are connected to the internet full security lasts but a brief period of time when you cannot be found.

Now how about this for tin-foil hat scenario?

Devious forces allowed the F-35 to be compromised, so the F-22++ can be put back into production to counter the threat.

Why don’t we get a clue, and stop building China into a rival superpower?

A rival superpower with four times our population.

At 200 million a copy, give them the plans, they will go broke building it.

They don't have unions to deal with in China.

I have worked at one place where the critical network is air gapped. Anything transferred from the outside went by sneaker net and checked. I could not even bring my own laptop into the place (that even went as far as cell phone and pager).
I will just say the place was defense related.

I have a client who does exactly that. It’s a huge pain in the ass but they and those like them are the only ones who can go to sleep at night with a reasonable assurance that their secrets are secure.

What Carter, Clinton and Obozo hadn't given them freely, they've stolen.

Our own government! Just sets me back on my heels.
