Rush Limbaugh says Romney's victory speech last night was his best one yet, he just hopes he means what he said.
"Right on, right on. So maybe the conservative alternative to Romney is Romney. Let's hope so. It all boils down to whether he means this. It's that simple," Limbaugh said.

He followed it up with the story about there being a possible ‘reset button’ after the nomination. Can’t trust Romney.
So Rush is going wobbly now? Of course Romney doesn’t mean a word of it...his campaign chief admitted as much this morning.
I just wish I had some doubt on whether or not Romney means the rare conservative statements that his speechwriters insert into his speeches. Unfortunately, after listening to Mitt for a very long time, I have no doubt that he is a liberal who despises the Second Amendment, despises conservative values, and loves big government.
So let’s judge Romney by what he says? Forgetting that he trashed the Tea Party? WTF!!
I think RL is wrong on this one. I don’t have any confidence in what Romney says. He’ll say anything to anybody to get elected. Just watch him move left if he gets the nomination!

My God even Rush got hisself brain washed..
I’m a Newt supporter and haven’t given up yet . . . but IF Mitt is it . . . then I can only hope and pray that this primary battle has made him stronger and perhaps even opened up his eyes a little bit as to the principals of true conservatism . . . not perfect but way better than 4 more of Obama . . . especially IF the healthcare gets overturned. We need a very strong House and to win a good decent majority in the Senate. Getting rid of Boehner and McConnell and replacing them with maybe Ryan and Rand Paul or somebody would be a vast improvement. They will need to be strong and guide a Romney to the right path.
The man is a fraud, pure and simple.
Rush played that interview right after he played the Romney acceptance speech and basically said “Well, that’s the problem with Romney...”
Or Newt and Sarah when they endorse the eventual nominee whomever that is?

Romney or Obama. If you're forced to eat either dog crap or Taco Bell, you learn to swallow the chalupa.

Romney will shift the Republican party to the left and set the conservative movement back decades if elected. He will be able to pass liberal legislation Obama could only dream of getting passed. Republicans will end up in a smaller minority in Congress after Romney gets done than they had after the Bush Presidency.
Rush has been drinking this kool aid since the beginning of the primary season, and before.
He did it during the 2008 primaries. I didn’t want to believe it so I hung on to my denial for a long time.
Sure, Rush is very talented when it comes to hiding his kool aid consumption, but let’s face it—this is not a talent to brag about. The fate of our country is at stake.
