39% approve and 61% disapprove.

Hell no its not worth the cost.
I don’t know how much a yahoo poll will “help”.
But I will tell you the question is biased. At least they only had two choices. Usually they would parce the “oppose” vote by having two different opposition positions to take.
1. Do you think Obamacare is helping to fix a broken system?
or
2. Do you think it is not worth the cost?
I’m surprised they didn’t also have choices like:
3. Do you think it’s unconstitional?
4. Do you think it infringes on individual rights?
That way they would ahve been able to report later that people narrowly support the law because the opposition vote was split in three choices.
I disapprove of the fact that “Disapprove - It is an unconstitutional socialist boondoggle.” was not a choice.
Do you approve or disapprove of Obama’s health care law?
Approve. It’s fixing a broken system. 39%
Disapprove. It’s not worth the cost. 61%
54039 votes at the time I voted.
Done!
I agree. Intelligent questions would help but they would all be answered with a negative bias towards Obama. The Obama water carriers like Yahoo would not like that.
Approve. It’s fixing a broken system. 39%
Disapprove. It’s not worth the cost. 61%
Done! 61% opposed, 39% in favor.
I believe scientific polls are showing more like 75% against and 25% for.

It doesn’t cost 39% a penny.
As if getting the cost down a few percentage points might make it "worth it."
The “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” succeeds at neither of the stated goals indicated in the title. Patients have LESS protection now, than they formerly had,and this includes the “uninsured”, who at one time could count on gaining access to emergency rooms.
And as a result of all the “consolidations” included in the language of the bill as written, cost of delivery of health services will necessarily increase, not just incrementally, but exponentially. To fund the system, the remaining cash flow coming into Medicare is going to be diverted to the general health care fund, a little bit of bookkeeping chicanery that went unnoticed at the time.
And the biggest prank of all, is the institution of the “death panels”, the review of each application for high-value health services, relating to the number of useful productive years the applicant has remaining. Grandma gets a pain pill for her broken hip, not a hip replacement, because she just does not have all that many years left. And none of those years are likely to be very good anyway.
Just voted NO.. it is 61% no 39% yes... (who are those morons who voted yes??)
It’s such a fraud on the public, so filled with miscalculations and lies, its’ so flawed and ambiguous, that the cost (to me) is the very least of the problems with this monstrosity!
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
I freeped. Thanks, ACH!!
54039 votes at the time I voted.
I voted when there was 85,000+ votes and the rates were exactly the same 61-39, that is not statistically probable.
I just voted. Same results 39-61.
,,,,, Yahoo was getting the wrong results from the poll and took it down ,,, couldn’t find it @ 2:17PM est .
