If Romney wins, I will go third party or win in candidate. I won’t vote for a cheater, liar and socialist.

After his gaffe about Zimmerman, yes, he should. It was either unforgivably uninformed idiocy, or scumbag lowlife pandering. Either way, this lightweight has finally toasted himself out of the running.

I think Rick should get the hell out of Newt’s way.

Romney & Santorum would get their butts handed to them by Obama. After what Santorum said about Zimmermann I don’t care to hear much more from him.

Buh bye, Rick.

Time for Little Ricky to go on to greener pastures elsewhere.

Interesting to see you are a Romney fan.

Actually, no, I am not a Romney fan. He’s just another Leftist trying to fit into Conservative clothes. I see him like I see Glenn Beck - as a used car salesman.

My fave is Gingrich but if I could have the Sarahcuda as a choice I would pick her.

If Rick gets out, Newt starts winning IMO.

If you assume the same 60-40 rule for Newt dropping applies to Santorum dropping, Romney clinches on June 5 with over 1300 delegates. The only one with any strength against Romney at this point is Santorum.

For example, Louisiana would have been Romney 47 to Gingrich 45, assuming 60% of the Santorum supporters switch to Newt.

How about a poll on whether Newt or Ron Paul should concede that this is now a two man race between Romney and Santorum?

I ran a simulation of that on Friday, assuming 60% of Newt's followers switch to Santorum. Romney does not win the nomination outright and Santorum is about 250 behind him at the end. In the other case, Romney clinches on June 5, with only Gingrich left. Even if you assume 70% of Santorum's supporters go to Gingrich, Romney still clinches.

Romney clinches before the convention without Santorum in the race. The only people who should want Santorum out of the way should be Romney supporters.

This was his Waterloo.

If Romney clinches the nomination I will not be voting for him. I might as well be voting for Obama!

I don't. I assume that Santorum's support goes to Newt 85-15.

Assuming 85% is probably unwise. With Newt’s +5 approval rating, 60-40 is likely generous.

With 85%:
