Hotair.com had an interesting article about these polls, and the internals on them.

Obama is in trouble, even with these polls.

i didn’t go into the weeds to see exactly who was polled.
But I do know thee is NO recovery

and now that obama has made sure energy costs will “ necessarily skyrocktet” with his latest EPA rulings on coal Penn and especially Ohio. which gets over 80% of it’s energy from coal will NOT vote for 0dumbo

So...gas is $3.81 a gallon here ($1.85/gallon on the day of his crowning), milk is $5.50 to $6.29, bacon is 5.98 to $7.98, hamburger (worst 73/27) is $3.50/lb), and so on. All of the car dealerships here in town have at most 1/2 lot full (Chebby and Chrysler 1/4 to 1/3 full). Lots of empty store fronts still, my house is worth less than I paid for it, taxes haven’t gone down, ALL of my monthly services have gone up (gas, elect., water, phones, mobiles, entertainment, lawn service, security service, etc.) have increased...

Just how in the name of Cowboy Hell is the ‘economy’ recovering? Huh? When you piss on my leg, don’t say it is raining.

Open the files and trot out a “Yea, Obama, Happy Happy Joy Joy!” story on a day when he just took it up the shorts at the Supreme Court...

I don't buy it for a minute.
The economy is NOT improving -— and even if it was, the price of gas, and the fear of Obamacare taxes and more regulations would KILL any recovery, at least by mid-summer.

The economy is deteriorating at a slower rate- for now.
If the media can portray that as ‘improving’ (in a way it is) then he’s in the clear.

If, meanwhile, nothing happens to re-accelerate that slow deterioration...

To quote Senator Obama in 2008; “What economy is he living in?”.

Terrible grammar.

Economy improving stories remind me of the Bugs Bunny cartoons where a plane is heading for the ground to crash and is saved at the last minute by running out of gas.

Economy improving no one left to layoff

Economy improving everyone is on welfare

Economy improving food stamp office hires greeter

Economy improving in Sanford Florida (gun sales through the roof)

According to the White House Insider Obama’s internal polling indicates he’s down 10 points from these external polls.

Other polls that are more credible have said that an improving economy will not help Obama because voters believe it is improving depsite Obama, not because of Obama — so they believe Obama in the White House will continue to hold them back. Quinnipiac, of course, is always tilted to the left.
