Report: DOJ may indict SC Gov. Nikki Haley for tax fraud
The Daily Caller ^ | March 29, 2012 | Nicholas Ballasy

The Department of Justice may indict South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley on charges of tax fraud, according to the Palmetto Public Record, a South Carolina political blog.

PPR reported that a “highly ranked” federal government official “privately confirmed rumblings of an investigation” and the “possible indictment of the governor.” The report said the official, however, could not provide a specific time frame.

However, two “well-placed legal experts” said the DOJ indictment could come as early as next week, according to the report.

The alleged tax fraud reportedly occurred during Haley’s time managing finances for the Sikh worship center in South Carolina run by her father, Dr. Ajit Singh Randhawa.

In addition to reports of impending federal criminal charges, a group of South Carolina Democratic lawmakers is calling on Haley to waive her right to treat confidentially any ethics complaints that may be pending against her.

First they came for the Rinos, but I’m not s Rino so I didn’t speak up.

Then they came for the Independents, but I’m not an Independent so I didn’t speak up.

Then they came for the Moderate Conservatives, but I’m not a Moderate Conservative so I didn’t speak up...

Et cetera.

Sorry Mr(or Miss) Dude, Nikki Haley is definitely NOT a RINO. It’s true that if it came to a choice between her and Tim Scott to “take out” the wobbly Lindsey Graham in the 2014 Republican primary, I’d go with Congressman Scott. But that’s mainly because she was an early endorser of Mitt Romney.

Nikki Haley is now getting the Senator Stevens/Sarah Palin treatment from the national and South Carolina Democrats—including the Obama-Holder Department of INJUSTICE.

If you are a true conservative, you’ll try to build up a CONSERVATIVE Republican party instead of trying to tear it apart (I’ve seen some of your “3rd Party” postings in your history). That’s my opinion anyhow on how we can best DEFEAT the Democrat Oppressors.

Agreed. One would think SOMEBODY in the Obama WH got a degree in History, not the feel-good crapola that tends to run the schools these days.

Democrat election strategy for destroying opposition:
1. Hostile IRS audits of GOP pols and supporters.
2. Black Panther vigilante squads
3. Destroy commercial sponsors of conservative media.

Taken right out of the Stasi, KGB handbooks.

Their “war on women” GOP Governors continues. Why do the Dems hate women so much? Look at all of the men who have been given a pass. (Just thought a little back at them was appropriate). They can’t stand for people in leadership to be Republican while woman or while black or while hispanic. The list is long.

I really don’t care if I offend your sensabilities: the RINOS in the GOP and the GOP-e have pretty well run this party (and country) down.

You don’t like it?

I am just sick of them all around. Wasn’t a 3rd party guy till the GOP started 1)Betraying the Tea Party almost immediately after the 2010 election and 2)Pushed liberal Rino Romney on us.

Nikki Haley endorsed ROMNEY that’s RINO enough.

You forgot this one:
4. DIVIDE THE OPPOSITION. HAVE THEIR USEFUL IDIOTS PROPOSE SPLITTING THE REPUBLICAN VOTE BY HAVING A 3RD (CONSERVATIVE) PARTY.

Al Franken (DFL) 1,212,431*
Norm Coleman (Republican) 1,212,206*
Charles Aldrich (Libertarian) 13,908
Dean Barkley (Independence) 437,308
James Niemackl (Constitution) 8,893

Notice anything with the above counts? If these three so-called conservative alternatives weren’t splitting the Republican vote, the Republican would have won in a landslide. He would have won if ANY OF THE THREE were not on the ballot.

Lesson: Don’t be a USEFUL IDIOT by being a proponent of splitting the Republican vote. I always suspect that some folks who are 3rd party proponents are actually “5th Column” members posing in our ranks.

With friends like you, conservatives do not need enemies. Obama thanks you for your support for the Dems long term prospects.

You also made a fifth point as illustrated by franken’s win: CHEAT!

I am no fan of mitt, but mitt over Hussein is a no brainer. Now a Lenin vs Hussein contest, that would be a tough choice.

I don’t know. John Lennon, according to recent revelations, was quite conservative toward the end of his life. So even though BOTH he and Obama would not meet the natural born citizen requirement, I’d choose Lennon over Obama if that was the choice.

Oh....wait...you said Lenin and not Lennon. Well, you’re right; Lenin against Obama would be a real tough choice.
