"If that arrogant, lazy, lying pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave had been vetted, like McCain was he would have never been elected. And you know it"

See the idea is to actually nominate someone so when they are vetted they aren't found to be some dickwad like McCain or Romney.

Its not all that hard to Nominate someone good and could easily be accomplished if it weren't for the Republican National Committee not wanting someone good. See, they want someone that will toe the line for the Republicrats and the Demicans so they can continue to roam the halls of power and bilk the American Taxpayer for billions.

Check the net worth of each and every Congresscritter before he gets elected and after he has been there a few terms. They ALL get very wealthy. They don't want someone who will rain on their parade sitting in the Oval office so they make sure that whoever gets the nomination for the Republicrats and the Demicans isn't a boat rocker and keeps the status quo.

Me I'm done with that game. I will stay registered as a Repub and I will work in the primaries locally to get "good" candidates nominated at all levels BUT I WILL NOT BLINDLY SUPPORT F**KTARDS LIKE McCAIN and ROMNEY ANYMORE JUST BECAUSE THE RNC RIGS THE GAME TO KEEP THEIR GUYS IN CHARGE.

IF that pisses anyone off on Free Republic well too bad. I'm 53 years old this year and for the last 6 Presidential Elections I've held my nose to vote in the General.

That stops this year.

Nuff Said...

If anyone does email her, do us all a favor and don't prove her point.

Did so yesterday, polite but pointed. And double check on spelling, punctuation and grammar! If she's really that big a lib, the closing really ticked her off; I said I'd pray for her. I did so at yesterday's Good Friday service. Obama and the Muslims, too.

I have no problem with her calling the Republican Party "Stupid" as long as she also calls the Democrat Party "Evil".

DITTO on that.

The thing about the RAT Party is that the sheeple are supposed to only look at the libtard's intentions, never ever critique their results - which almost NEVER EVER produce the desired results.

If Romney gets the nomination, I will heartily agree that Republicans are stupid.

True story about the teacher being fired for mentioning how Hitler came to power. The teacher was a good guy too and left the state over it. His wife practically had a breakdown when the Media in Ak (Anch Daily Worker) crucified him in print. There was an aide here who was Jewish and contacted some left wing Jewish media organization in Anch. Reporter called teacher, asked to do a piece on our small rural school. Then during interview, the reported jumped the teacher and then wrote his own article much the teacher hadn't even said. Our school district got scared and fired the teacher rather than support him. Old Watson had mentioned that Hitler used the economic conditions in Germany that were in part due to the war reparations to incite Nationalism and his rise to power; the Jewish aide heard him and she started calling everybody that would listen to her. Watson moved back to Mich. and didn't come back here to Eagle, Ak for 10 years, then to sell his house here. BUT the best part: Watson's wife was never completely right after all they went through; she was real nice, but off just a little. So when they drove back to Ak from MIch, closer they got to Ak, funnier his wife got. So Dawson, Yukon is 110 miles upriver from us. By the time they got to Dawson, Watson had enough. He put his wife in canoe, gave her some food, and pushed her off into the Yukon. Took her 2 days to float down to Eagle and by the time she arrived, she was OK again. ha ha, true story. Had to hand it to Watson, he dwelt with some real lefties that tried ruining his life and his marriage survived; just 2 days in a canoe out in the middle of nowheres will do it every time.

Most teachers have to follow district policy and curriculum to the letter, especially if you are a Republican.

Stupidity is one human disease that is very unusual in that the primary symptom is that the sufferer fails to recognize the disease in himself and quite often fails to even notice it in others who display outrageously obvious signs of the disease yet the sufferer may often claim to recognize symptoms in almost anyone who is in fact free of symptoms. It may be unique in that anyone who self diagnoses himself as having the disease usually displays no outward symptoms recognizable to others. Most who display the disease remind me of a drunk staggering up to a perfectly sober friend and saying in slurred tones, “You neeeeed tooooo...hic...try toooooo sober up.”

A typical sufferer whom I know but wish I did not know is 37 years old and has actually scored at genius level on IQ tests and has a computer science degree but his major life accomplishment is in running up debt which he seems to have zero chance of repaying. He has yet to figure out a way to support himself, is as entertaining to be around as a dirty pile of laundry, has the good judgement of an Elena Kagan and would have been far better off now had he taken a job in a convenience store after high school and stuck with it but he refers to George W. Bush who is a Harvard MBA as well as a Yale graduate, who was trained as a jet fighter pilot, was twice elected governor of Texas and twice elected POTUS as “retarded”.

I once had someone on FR respond to a post of mine and tell me that I would have to admit that Obama had a LOT more experience to prepare him for the presidency than George W. Bush had when he was elected! I couldn’t imagine how anyone could be silly enough to think that.

She [Martin] said to him, ‘I don’t like them, I think that they are stupid.’

As a Conservative Christian, I’ve observed the behavior of the GOP throughout several elections and I’m inclined to agree with this teacher.

I was thinking back. I cannot recall one mention of "God" or Christianity in my elementary or middle school years. I do remember the 6th grade social studies teacher going into great detail about the practice of islam. I even remember something about a "niche in the mosque." I thought it was so absurd I used to make jokes about it to my parents and friends, who looked at me quizzically when I did.

But can't remember one single mention of God or Christianity. Perhaps because it was so ubiquitous...but if that's the case, how come it was so easy to choose atheism before I was in the 6th grade?

This was in Massachusetts, governed and infiltrated by progressives by the time I was going to school.

Public school teaching jobs in VA are hard to get these days. This teacher should be fired and replaced by one who can be non-partisan.

I teach AF JROTC in Texas. My cadets know that I’m a Christian and Conservative. I do not hide nor “sugar coat” my beliefs. However, I don’t “trash talk” any group and I demand that they treat each other with mutual respect.

It can be done, if you are willing to make the effort.

The GOP gave us not only McCain and Romney, they put Michael Steele in charge. He’s the one who said (if I remember properly) those white Conservatives are afraid of/threatened by him.

I would have serious issues with this teacher if she said Conservatives were stupid. She was right on the mark when she said Republicans.

Former Joliet, Illinois Laraway principal faces charges

By BRIAN STANLEY Bstanley@stmedianetwork.com April 6, 2012 2:40PM

Marshall

Updated: April 6, 2012 9:48PM

JOLIET TOWNSHIP — A former principal has been arrested for allegedly forging documents that allowed a convicted killer to work at an elementary school.

Tashona R. Marshall, 32, of 241 W. 111th St. in Chicago was arrested Thursday on charges of forgery, official misconduct and making a false statement for a public hiring.

On Jan. 3, Marshall resigned from Laraway School, after serving one semester as principal. On Jan. 5, the superintendent sent a letter to parents saying Marshall had been “removed from the principalship due to a serious lapse of professional judgment in the purposeful falsifying of a personnel record,” the February school newsletter said.

“Shut up and teach”.

Do your job for a change, and maybe American kids can some day find one also.

the Jewish aide heard him and she started calling everybody that would listen to her.

The whole story is making me shake my head in disbelief. But the above line seems to represent what a lot of idiots do. Someone mentions the word 'Hitler' and everything goes whacko and reason is thrown out the window. Nothing this teacher said was untrue. Except he'd used that word. In some circles it's like using the word n*****.

I suspect that if he'd simply said, "The leader of a European nation, just West of Poland, in the build up to WWII used economic conditions to...etc" he would have had no problem.
