To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

Principles built this nation against a much larger foe. And now you want to shuck them out of fear?

You can vote for whomever you like. But don't expect to be cheered for voting out of fear.

Well gee thanks for at least letting me vote for whoever I like.

And I don't expect to be cheered by a bunch of people who can't see the forrest for the trees. You can do the same and not vote there by helping Obama get elected.

If that happens, and it very possibly will, when things get worse you can look in the mirror and realize who was to blame.

And you cannot expect cheers when that happens.

Romney is Obama. Wake up. Fight back! Don't let the elites steal the election. You tell me what the difference is between Obamney and Obamney! There is none!!! Fight back!

Romney's "accomplishments".

1. Implemented/created Gay Marriage in MA
2. Supported and forced Gay Adoption in MA
3. Supported Abortion wholeheartedly
4. Raised taxes/fees over 300% while being Governor of MA
5. Implemented a state-level Cap and Trade system.
6. Supported Man-Made Global Warming
7. Supported the Brady Bill
8. Implemented a state level “Assault” Weapons Bill after the Federal AWB was allowed to expire
9. Supported TARP
10. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (Citizenship for those already here)
11. Supported McCain-Kennedy(Amenesty)
12. Implemented a socialized medicine in MA called RomneyCare complete with an Individual Mandate and $50 abortions
13. Nominated 27 Democrats (out of 36 nominations) for judgeships in MA, many of them extreme left-wingers

For those for whom abortion is a key issue, it should be noted that abortion "came out of the closet" because of Roe v. Wade -- a Supreme Court decision. Not because of some act passed by Congress and the President.

The damage that a Supreme Court controlled by liberal, activist judges could do is much greater than what a Presdent can do, because there is no filibuster to stop them, and having control of one house of Congress won't stop them either. In fact, you can't even stop such a Court if you have the Presidency and both houses of Congress.

Give Obama the opportunity to replace one or more of the conservative justices on the Court with another Kagan or Sotomayor, and it's not going to matter if Ronald Reagan himself wins election in 2016. It will be game over.

People may not be sure that Romney will appoint conservative justices when he doesn't have to deal a Democratic committee that could veto his choices, as he did in Massachusetts. Perhaps his appointees would not be much better than Obama's. But we know what Obama's Supreme Court appointments will look like because he's already made two. There is no doubt as to what he'll do if he gets another vacancy to fill.

Watch a liberal-dominated Supreme Court toss out Congressional restrictions on the use of federal funds for abortions. Watch them run this country into the ground while there's nothing we can do about it. Anyone who forgets the legacy of the Warren Court should look it up.

If there is any chance that Romney will appoint more conservative justices than Obama -- and based on the advisors he's signed on, that seems a reasonable bet -- then I think the choice is clear.

We cannot give Obama 5 votes on the Supreme Court.

You have convinced me.

In the die-hard Democrat lock states, it makes no sense to vote for Romney, since your vote is lost anyway.

I live in California. Since California will go big for Obama, my vote and JimRob’s vote aren’t wasted on a 3rd party, since we can’t influence the election anyway.

You just gave me the reason I needed to write in Sarah Palin for president.

I AM FREE! WHOOPEE!

Thank you for making my day. I’m free to write in Palin since my vote won’t count in California anyway.

Oh don’t worry, all these noble conservatives are going to write in loser candidates and go home and feel all proud that they gave Obama four more years to do more harm than they can possibly imagine. After all, Romney is the new anti-christ now don’t you know ...

Those that compare Obama to Romney and think they are equal are worse than fools, they don’t deserve to even vote they are so ignorant.

Someone made a very good point earlier in this thread that I've been considering for a long time as well.

No politician can accomplish anything, much less get reelected, if he completely turns his back on his political base. And no matter how far to the left Romney would go, the Democrats would still run someone to oppose him.

Regardless of where Romney's center truly lies, and even if he is nothing more than a sheer opportunist, the fact that he needs support from rank and file Republicans will force him to be more conservative than Obama.

I like the graphic and would like to use it. Can you fix the spelling of point #11 (amenesty)? I know what you meant, but in a graphic file I can’t easily fix the spelling.

Well, Romney had better enjoy this, the very last political victory he will ever experience in his lifetime. There is no way in hell he will be elected POTUS in November.

Let me see what I can do with it (I thought I had double-checked everything.. but after I had finalized and closed it, I noticed the shadow was a bit cut off too :/).. I really need a second person to check stuff before I close it (finalize) Xp

Why can’t Newt or somebody unite all these Conservative Delegates ....He’d have over 400, just around 200 less than Mitt and the rest of the primaries would be winnable for Gingrich since the conservative vote wouldn’t be split.

As a native born Californian who has lived here all my life, I am VERY GRATEFUL that liberal California is among the last states to nominate national politicians.

Look at the freaking RINOs we get running for the US Senate. I mean, Carly Fiorina????? Are you kidding me. FioRINA????

I am sooooooooooooo grateful that California can’t make the national GOP nominee even more of a bedwetting liberal than we end up getting. No, I’m glad we are cut out of the nominating process. Very glad.

Sure, we have tons of solid Conservatives here. The RINO crucible tempers us to be stronger Conservatives. But still we are not the majority of the GOP here in CA. The majority are more like Arnold Schwarzenneger than they are like us.

I can’t wait to leave this commie hellhole of a state, but that is a different topic. Be thankful that CA is not among the first states in the presidential nominating process.

I understand your reasoning. However, on another thread someone posted pictures of aborted babies, and they were gruesome (of course). I was looking at them and thinking that Mitt Romney made that kind of murder possible. For only $50, women in MA today are killing infants, and the blame lies with Romney. I just would ask Christians who are considering voting for this man to keep that in mind and pray about it. I believe putting a mark beside his name to elect him to lead this country is a grave sin.

The problem is, that if GOP wanted indeed to beat Obama, they wouldn’t pushed a Mass. Republican, a.k.a. a liberal, for whom “R” stands for “Reformer” for nomination.

Okay, then riddle me this. NONE of those people who have come out and endorsed Romney want to beat Obama? None of them? They are all in on the joke? If so, then we are sitting at a HUGE disadvantage with no Field General to take this conservative movement to the next level.

And to add to that, we will have a Marxist as our leader for another four years. And at the end of those four years, no matter how bad Obama makes things, his loyal troops will vote for the next far left politician because that is what they desire. They desire a TRANSFORMED America. We are simply giving it to them on a silver platter. AND we are getting backed into a corner where the only way out will be armed rebellion.

This is not a typical "lesser of two evils" scenario because Obama is an entirely different kind of evil. If he still wins re-election despite all that we know about him, God help us.

The real people who enabled that were those Supreme Court justices in the majority in Roe v. Wade. I would not doubt, in the least, that a liberal majority of the Supreme Court would find that the Hyde Amendment, and any other specific restriction on the funding of abortions, would be found to be a violation of Equal Protection.

You want more abortions, and federal financing? Give Obama the chance to nominate another Justice or two.

“Another pro Obama Freeper. rat...It’s the new conservatism!”

So, where do you stand? Are you pro-Romney? I know you are pro socialized medicine, because both candidates not only support it, they AUTHORED it.

How about the SCOTUS? Both guys are going to nominate liberals, because both of their records are prima facia on that fact. You a pro-Sotomayor for Chief Justice guy?

Both candidates will give it to you.

I’m with Alexander Hamilton on this - If we can’t nominate a conservative, then let the liberal win, and let him wear the fruits of his labors.

It’s funny, because it’s not like Hamilton had over 200 years of American electoral experience to utter what he did about the matter. He’d seen the same thing in England.

As such, its what some would call ‘learning from history’. This is one of the original reasons why public education made such a good idea at the time - if people learned history, they may not be inclined to repeat some of the more regrettable aspects of it.

So, here’s the lesson - if you settle for a liberal to represent the conservative party, you guarantee multiple decades of liberal governance at almost every level. This isn’t conjecture - it’s a fact. The liberals will blame ALL conservatives because they nominated a liberal, and are now unhappy with the results of their ‘conservative’ representative.

The liberals have a point. If you want to screw it up, at least be honest about it. Liberals will come out and tell you the Constitution has outlived its usefulness. Massachusetts conservatives will simply flout the Constitution, and trot it out at the midterms.

The only way this sick bunch if party hacks are going to learn is if they lose this election. They, like you, tend to repeat their history. They nominated McCain, pretty much an avowed liberal, and got hammered. They decided it was because people wanted to make history electing a black President, and not because McCain was a double-talking representative of the media elite. There’s not a camera McCain didn’t love.

So, they go out and do it again - hand us a liberal. Now, you can attempt to blame me for another four years of Obama, which already just happened anyway, or you can blame Coulter, Rove, Noonan, Drudge, and the rest of the hacks that did this to you.

The rest of us will just stick to learning from history. They are going to lose despite everything working in the favor of Republicans, and in the end, they will end up blaming us, not them. It’s what liberals do, after all. Especially after living in Capitol City (DC) for too long.

I guess Hunger Games had to come out since nobody seems to understand George Orwell anymore.

2 + 2 is 4, not 5. You lost the election this year no matter who wins. Put some ice on it. Walk it off. Drink a little.
