Democratic pollster: Obama +5 in Florida; Jeb Bush Strongest VP Pick for Romney
Post On Politics ^ | April 17th, 2012 | George Bennett

President Obama holds a 50-to-45 percent lead over Mitt Romney in Florida, according to a new poll from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling.

PPP also tested four potential Florida running mates for Romney — Sen. Marco Rubio, former Gov. Jeb Bush, Gov. Rick Scott and U.S. Rep. Allen West — and found that only Bush would have a positive effect on the GOP ticket in Florida.

A Romney/Bush ticket would narrow Obama’s advantage to 49-46, within the poll’s 3.7 percent margin of error. The survey of 700 Florida voters was taken Thursday through Sunday.

The Obama/Joe Biden ticket holds a 50-43 lead over Romney/Rubio, a 51-40 advantage over Romney/Scott and a 50-40 lead over Romney/West.

PPP’s last Florida polls testing Obama vs. Romney showed the president with a 1-point lead in December and September.

“WHAT SAY YE, FREEPERS???”

I don’t think many accursed Lamanites are going to be fooled even by an authentic token, far less a vicarious token by marriage who is also fat, chipmunk cheeked and a moral coward. The greying teletubbie look may soften the jewelry filching mortician look of the ticket, but that would be about it.

There is no chance that Rubio would help Romney with Fl’s sizable Spanish population. And I’ve got pet alligators to sell the pollsters at PPP. Bob

There is this common misconception that “Hispanics” are some huge megablock of voters who all vote alike.

Nope.

I vote in Florida. And in 2000, my vote was part of the few hundred that decided the fate of America.

I know my vote counts, as it’s in one of the few ‘close’ counties in Florida that flip the state from blue to red and vice versa.

In 2008, I couldn’t stomach the idea of McCain and so, left the Presidential block on the ballet empty. Florida went blue, then, and witness the result.

It’s now 2012, and Jim says to vote 3rd party.

My vote will be one of the few that absolutely matter in the election. I guess I should do my duty and vote 3rd party - or leave that portion of the ballet empty. Four more years of Obama is okay. I mean, what could he do that Romney wouldn’t do, too?

After all, $5 trillion in debt in just four years... eh, no big deal.
Shutdown of the coal industry... eh, big whoop.
End of cheap power (electricity, oil)... nothing that Romney wouldn’t do, right?
Over 60% of all our newly issue debt bought by the Fed, with the resultant inflation *NOT* being tracked (by the Fed, who is causing it)... who cares!

Yes, I have seen the light. FUMR!

Enjoy the next 4 years, everyone!

And yes, I am being sarcastic. But at the same time, I will leave the Presidential portion blank. I just wanted to let everyone ponder the reality of what that *WILL* mean.

Most don’t live in an area that is such a political pivot-point, so can afford a protest vote. So here’s an actual chance to truly ponder what you’d do in a situation where your vote is a critical decider.

No more rhetoric.

You get a ballot in which you can vote for a ticket's VP choice?!?

Wow, what state is that?

There is no way Obama is up 5%, or by any amount in Florida. Show me the sample!

Here's the scam PPP runs:

They poll a wish. They simply make it up.

Then, a few days before the election, they poll reality and actually report real results.

Then they can point to the election results, and their polls, and claim that in the end they are credible.

Neat scam.

Another Bush?

How insane can they be? Even the word “bush” stirs up the progressives and liberals like kicking a bed of fire ants.

If Romney selects a “Bush” it’s all over before it begins.

America does NOT deserve what it gets, and has gotten, from vicious Team Romney.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media “vet” the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.

This “election” will be a non-election...featuring the state approved “candidates”-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.
