AP) WASHINGTON - The White House says the Obama administration does not and will not negotiate with al Qaeda even though it is concerned about the safety and well-being of a 70-year-old American aid worker kidnapped in Pakistan nine months ago.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said the administration condemns the kidnapping of Warren Weinstein and called for his immediate release.
In a video released by al Qaeda, Weinstein said he would be killed unless President Barack Obama agrees to the group's demands.

why wasn’t Weinstein working in the USA to enhance its leather industry?
To me, Weinstein is a traitor. Greed got him where he is. He has no business asking obama to negotiate.

other than their tag, is there a difference between Afghan insurgents and Al-Qaida? The obozo is releasing enemy combatants aka Afghan insurgents in hopes they will in turn not kill American troops. But Carney said the obozo won't negotiate with Al-Qaida! Does it matter what a group calls itself if their goal is to kill Americans? What ever happened to just killing the enemy for victory? Somebody please convince me this war on terror is not about somebody making sh$t loads of money.

Poor Mr. Weinstein... Obama only negotiates for the release of deserters.
