Focus groups for the new $20 bill reported spotting nude women and mistaking the Vimy Ridge memorial for the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

The tests, conducted before the bill’s release in order to catch unintended images, were conducted by market research firm the Strategic Council Focus and obtained by CTV News through an access to information request.

Concerns about the appearance of the aging Queen Elizabeth II were blacked out by the Bank of Canada.

Being Canadian it just might be “They’ure”. The pretentious overuse of the U is a common trait. LOL

It’s interesting that the Vimy Ridge memorial pictured on the bill is located in France, not Canada.

Better the Queen on it than Pierre Trudeau.

Will the old twenties still be any good? I have several of them at home (Maryland, USA).

They are good for now, but will be taken out of circulation eventually. You should be good for ten years or so before some clerk doesn't recognize them as legal tender.

Canada Ping.

It's easier for polymer bills to slide out of your pocket.

I thought of answering as smokingfrog did — but, seriously, fanfan has it right.

AH! I see it. It’s on the reverse side. The parliament tower is the space between the legs, the maple leaf flag is, er, well the fig leaf, and the two green jugs on either side of the Queen’s head are...well, you get the idea.

I hear she's a pretty nice girl, but she doesn't have a lot to say.

The battle was instrumental in defining Canadian identity as distinct from Britain (in much the same way Gallipoli did for Australia & New Zealand).

If you can get past Liz’s penetrating glare, there are naked boobies on the backside... of the bill.

Aging QE is right.

Then I looked at the back, and at first glance, I saw Jimmy Carter. Then back to the front, and she does look like Jimmy Carter.

Stolen from Albert Einstein. Or was that Yogi Berra?

I’ve found many occasions to quote it — especially in academic circles.

I’m done using it here — you can have it, if you want.
