Amazing what one can do with a desired result in search of a poll. I`m going to conduct a poll of 100 likely voters, sampling 44% Constitution Party members, 33% Republicans and 23% Democrats. Results will show USCP candidate Virgil Goode leads with 44%, followed by Romney`s 33%. Obama will bring up the rear with 23%. And I`m going to trumpet it in the “media.”

As with Reuters.. my poll, my results!

A biased outlier and outright liar poll.

Reuterville is the home of foreign Leftists who want an Obama reelect more than anyone.

My theory on polling up until the election.

Most voters are meh on Romney. Hell, the choices in the primary was lackluster at best. So if polled about it, folks just can’t be all “HELL YES I’m voting for Romney” and just don’t think about it much.

However, on election day, when walking into the booth, I just can’t see them tapping the box next to Obama’s name. Even IF you are lucky enough to have kept your job, your disposable income has shrunk drastically due to high gas prices and the increase in food and other items. You will have moaned at the last of vacation you could afford this summer. You will have felt the pinch of school clothes and supplies. And on and on.

So polling isn’t really THAT big a deal right now. And that’s not even taking into account the heavily skewed results of over polling Democrats.

“This poll also defies Gallup and Rasmussen.”

For weeks I have been upset with Rasmussen results, but today was good news.
Obumbo had dropped several points in total approval, and their was a sharp divergence in the Obumbo/Romney figures, with Romney on top.
I still feel for America still having so many idiot blacks and Marxist for Odumbo.
I can not imagine living there again.

Yes, still deep in the woods. Still, Reuters? It might as well be a Debka/RT poll.

“There is no way that Barack is even leading much less blowing out Romney in the polls. Don’t believe it for a minute.”

You’re right; they were still touting Obama’s “magic” when he lost 3 statewide races a year after carrying those states in the 2008 election (MA, NJ, VA), and the same for the mid-terms. The ballot boxes are the only polls I believe, and since 2008 he’s been losing heavily.

With Romney, you must not celebrate too early. Yes. We are still in the woods, because MSM chicanery is still at play. If it were hopeless, they would be flailing wildly, resorting to desperate demagoguery. But by the lies they are telling, it appears we are still in the woods. A simple biased poll is SOP. When they abandon the SOP and start running around scaring people, the woods are thinning out some. When they start inventing, wild, improbable tales to scare people, start calling Romney a Nazi (to be one he’d need actual convictions:-), then we’re almost out of the woods.

Why is this incumbent president different from all others? Because he’s a false Messiah. He made his initial run into a religious revival, and then he disappointed people. Disappointed wild-eyed acolytes are desperate for some miraculous comeback. They long to continue believing. But they are the fanatics of the movement, and if they make too much noise, they scare the people who just believe the false Messiah is a politician and nothing more, but want to support him for whatever pragmatic reasons. When all hope of keeping the non-fanatics with The One dims, the fanatics start making more noise, hoping to convert the non-fanatics with their fervor. When that fails, they simply go nuts, refusing to accept the obvious, that their Messiah is a fraud with an oversize ego.

So yes. We are still deep in the woods. The crazier they get, the more hopeful I get. The saner they sound, the more afraid I get. This poll is the usual run-of-the-mill lie, so it scares me.
