Just how unpopular is President Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in a Texas prison received four out of 10 votes in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary. Inmate Keith Judd, 53, is serving 17 years for extortion at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution. He was sentenced in 1999 for making threats against the University of New Mexico and is due to be released on June 24 next year.

OMG I’ll bet that poor Keith Judd is about to get some certified mail from the IRS. Maybe they’ll threaten to throw him in jail!!

Lots of pithy comments in this thread, but I don’t believe we’ll see his “base” slip below 43-40% of the general population, regardless of what happens. The country is growing ever-more divided politically, and he remains the leader of the left.
In some states, don’t expect his base to slip below 55-50%.
In one particular ethnic group, don’t expect that base to slip below 90%...

Too right. Those figure accurately represent the proportion of the "taker class" in this country. They don't want to stop getting stuff for free and start having to earn and save for it.
