May 31, 2010… Doctors treating the man who stabbed and beheaded a passenger aboard a Greyhound bus are asking that he be allowed short periods of supervised outdoor time on the grounds of the Manitoba mental-health facility where he's being held.

Dr. Kremer sounds like he needs a Physiatrist. The sad and unfortunate part is that the poor victems famaily will be required to endure this year, after year, after year.
Sure, just like Issei Sagawa was never insane. The law is slacked, and justice never goes forth . . .
Well I guess its a good thing the other patients are insane so presumably they either won’t understand when a killer is loosed among them or will welcome him with open arms.
Or maybe, just maybe, some of them are far enough along on the road back to reality that it will scare the s___ out of those poor bastards. What a mess. Locked up with a scary killer on the loose.
I’m confused... is there some question that his ‘outside time’ is anywhere other then prison?

Like - walking down the street right beside the residents of the community... This dude beheaded a man on a bus full of people, so his aversion to committing crimes in public is obviously non-existent.
He should be put on the bus with Bernie Goetz.
That sounds good as well.
I would release this anguished soul.
(of course, he would have to go feet first in a box.)
If they think this scum bag is cured, then he should go ahead and stand trial for murder.
