Posted the following on a now zotted antifreeper thread a little while ago as I banned the atheist bastard who claimed we were NAZIs for defending Christianity, our God and our national heritage:

Free Republic is a pro-God (that’s the Judeo-Christian God for those in Rio Linda), pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Gun, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-Liberty, pro-Small (Limited) Government, pro-Declaration, pro-Private Property, pro-Strong Defense, pro-Borders, etc, ie, a grassroots pro-Traditional American Conservatism site.
We are strongly opposed to Marxism, communism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, abortionism, homosexualism, militant feminism, class warfare, nanny statism, crony capitalism, police statism, statism of any kind, whacko environmentalism, pacifism, government enforced atheism, or any other ism related to collectivism, leftism, liberalism, totalitarianism, etc, or used as weapons of destruction against our constitution, capitalism, our moral society, our religion, our traditional American way of life, our freedom, etc, and that includes RINOism. We are strongly opposed to all of the above whether foisted on us by Democrats or Republicans or anyone seeking or holding any public office whatsoever.
Unlike any other nation on earth, ours was founded on the belief that our rights to exist and to live free are granted by GOD, not government. We the people created our government and gave it life and its LIMITED powers! We control it! It does not control US!!

*sigh* Unfortunately, we are so busy trying to catch up to grade level in reading and math (special ed) that we often have to skip parts of the history text. Like the section on how wonderful islam is... funny how I've never had time to teach that particular section....

Jim, there is such a bounty of truth, wisdom, courage, and plain, good old fashioned American cussedness in that post, I hardly know where to point my appreciation.
As others have said, this community stands as the real vanguard of all that our forefathers fought, bled, sacrificed, and died to bequeath to us. I can’t tell you how proud I am to count myself among such fine patriots as these - and to call you my friend.

Romney's record as Governor of Massachusetts is identical to any hard left, nanny state, Socialist, liberal's. If you don't know that, then you haven't been paying attention. The facts have only been posted on this website thousands of times.
If you're determined to vote for Romney as the 'lesser of two evils', then at least do so, knowing what you're voting for.
Agreed. Our hearts are like those who died to the last man at the Alamo. But I believe we will live long and prosper. Ours is a unique nation and each day I thank God for his gift that “is” this freedom I’ve lived and raised my family in.
Frederick Muhlenberg was opposed but later joined the fight after the British got him out of bed so he could watch as they burned his church to the ground. He joined the fight the next day.
Its important that people realize how the revolution was very much a product of the churches which helps explain the hatred the left has for true religion.
