First of all, not a newb.. just a purge victim from the primaries.
JimRob posted almost a month ago about a so called truce between Romney supporters and the rest of the FReeper community. Since then, it appears the left has little job to do in driving a wedge into the right wing, we are doing it still ourselves.
Were is this truce? How come all I see on here is Alinsky tactics of divide and conquer? Today there was a post about Evil Mittie and him fundraising with morning after pill distributors. And the "true blue conservatives" pounce, little do they know that this pill manufacturer is one of the largest generic pill manufactuyrers in the world.. who produce all kind of medicine, even Augmentin, Azithromycin and Cipro, common anti-biotics..
This so called truce makes me sick. Can't wait to read the next half-baked anti-Romney article and the zealot FReepers who will eat up its every word because it furthers the narrative of Romney that THEY want him to fit into.
I'm not upset that people have beliefs that won't "allow" them to vote for Romney.. but what really irritates me is this active campaigning against people who would support Romney.. what game are you trying to pull? To deliver us into 4 more years of Obama servitude, for what purpose?? It strengthens conservatives? Talk about a phyyric victory. If you don't support Romney fine, but we are all anti-Obama here.. lets stay on focus.

Even though we disagree on the presidential nominee, it is at least good to know you will be voting “down ticket” to ensure we can at least have a shot at taking over the Senate and keep the House, as well as take control of the various states “out there.”
At the very least, by taking the Senate, HOPEFULLY we can stop any Obama nominees from going forward or, with Tea Party warriors increased, they can fight him to a stand-still. Can you imagine the type of nominees Obama would put forth if he won re-election AND reinforced his grip on the Senate. . .my gawd, almost too horrifying to think about.
No worries. . it certainly SOUNDED true. . .I was looking forward to throwing it in the faces of libs. . .*sigh*. . .but I guess I can still do that and use the ol’Dan Rather “fake but accurate” defense.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the sign up dates of the most vocal of the ‘anti’ factions, particularly those on or after Nov. 2010. We all know the Dims play dirty and infiltrating political websites to sow discord is a long favored tactic of progressive/commie/liberal operatives.

I’m glad that you’ve reached the point where my opinion doesn’t mean anything to you. But you do remember that it was you who responded (post 256) to my post (#248) with a question.
My point in post 248 was simply that if we have a CONSERVATIVE Republican Congress in 2013 (which I fully expect and am working toward) I didn’t expect their legislation to face Romney vetoes but that if Obama were reelected we could expect many vetoes from an unshackled Obama not having to worry about reelection.
Your question (post 256) was how did I know Romney wouldn’t be vetoing legislation from the Republican congress. I responded to your question (which, I admit, I personally thought to be rather silly) in post 286. And subsequent posts were made ending with you implying that I’m part of some group directing insults at anyone not supporting “Romney the liberal”. If you check the totality of my posting history (and if you’re honest with yourself) you’ll see that I have been anything but a Romney supporter.
I apologize if I apparently inadvertently rubbed you the wrong way today.

You missed my point. Abortions have been happening for about as long as women have been getting pregnant. Perhaps you should read up on it. My comment had nothing to do with natural death. Neither have you. The morning after pill is the last stop in string of bad decisions. She could have abstained from having Sex. Then she could have made sure that her partner was wearing protection. Lastly she should have been on the pill.

Make girls wear chastity belts until they are married and ABSOLUTELY MANDATE that they carry a baby full term if they fall pregnant, or have them both cut, so that it is impossible for them to reproduce ever again.

Indeed, both the producer of this drug and the user made choices they will be held accountable for. Just as the person that performs an abortion is as responsible as one who decides to have one. Both have taken part in a murder.
