Best-selling author David Maraniss' "Barack Obama: The Story" describes the future president's teenage antics, notably his copious marijuana smoking, details of which were published early Friday by Buzzfeed. While the book won't be released until June 19, vast sections of it were already available Friday on Google Books.

Wonder what his rules were for snorting those lines of coke? How sad a day it is in America that a man like this can be elected to the highest office in the land . . . and the media and the left worship at his feet.
Just an observation. But a pothead kid who is sitting in a private high school....probably graduates only because they inflate the grades. The pothead goes off to Occidental College for two years....mostly smoking pot and probably failing at least a quarter of all classes that he takes. He’s asked to leave by the end of the second year (my humble guess), then Columbia University easily accepts him?
The whole story here is a bogus transfer document that someone fixed up with swell grades and some dimwit at Columbia easily accepts without question. If Columbia had knew his actual grades....they never would have accepted him. At the very least, he would have had to repeat one entire year to make up for grades, which he didn’t (timelines just don’t show that).
Obama’s attitude, conduct and mannerisms remind me so much of the dopers I have come across in life - especially the self righteous, know-it-all communist/socialist/leftists in college.
He is so typical of the activist doper contingent who get a free ride, have little hands on experience or success in the world, but have all the answers about everything.
It is easy to pick these dopers out of the crowd: they spew all the Marxist cliches and as they look down their coke-burned noses at us they can barely disguise their contempt for us lesser beings.
Think of another typical heavy doper leftist we all know - Al Gore. He, Obama and other doper/lefties all display the same arrogance aa they strut and preen like peacocks and speak down to us with lofty superiority.
They rarely hear the laughter they generate.
That’s pretty much what Penn Jillette said in his great rant against BHO’s çavalier statements on his enjoyment of multiple drugs. Penn was quoted on Rush and appeared on Hannity earlier this week.
I cannot help but wonder whether the long-term symptoms associated with youthful copious marijuana smoking, have started to show up in President Obama's health record.
It may explain his miscues (57 states, talking about his two "sons," etc.), his desperate need for a teleprompter, potential short-term memory loss, and other drug caused behaviors?
Not to mention the long term affect of carcinogens in marijuana smoke that get ingested into the body organs. Is there any data/study about the harmful affects, or has that information been buried by the medical marijuana crowd and their money sources?
Even if it turns out that he murdered people don't talk about it. You want the Romney campaign to be called racist?

Does anyone believe that ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox don’t have the money or manpower to check these stories out? What are they afraid of? My guess is...the truth.
Imagine if Obama is discovered to have been a foreign student affirmative action acceptee? His entire biography collapses. This leads to questions about his birth certificate...and social security card...and his draft registration.

To think the Washington Post spent thousands of words in an above the fold story to report on Romney possibly having been involved in a hazing incident where (gasp) a kids hair may have been cut while Obama’s high school days were like a Cheech and Chong movie and nothing is said. Somehow being involved in some minor hazing incident doesn’t reflect nearly as bad on one’s character as spending most of your high school days stoned.
As a teenager and young man, I foolishly smoked a lot of marijuana. I now despise pot, have not gotten high since October 20, 1986, and never will again. By God’s grace I was able to walk away from it and never look back. To your point, 25 years later I can notice the short term memory loss resulting from heavy marijuana use. I thank God that He has restored and preserved my intellect, but there is definitely a residual effect. As someone from my generation, I would be shocked if Obama had not ever smoked pot. I can say with 100% certainty that if he was a chronic pot smoker in his youth, his mental processes have been compromised.
