During the 11 a.m. hour on MSNBC hosted by Thomas Roberts, Texas Democratic Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee warned of a worst case scenario if a bill proposed by Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks to put limitations on sex-selective abortions is signed into law.
Jackson Lee said that, despite “unanimous support” against these sort of abortions, women would be physically removed from clinics if Frank’s proposed law were to be put into effect.
“I think the next act will be dragging women out of patient rooms into the streets and screaming over their bodies as they get dragged out of getting access to women’s health care,” she said. “That’s what I feel like is occurring today with the legislation that is on the floor. Thomas, first of all, there is bipartisan and unilateral and unanimous support that we should not have agenda-based abortions for the sake of getting one gender over another. That’s a human, humane and humanitarian issue that none of us quarrel with.”
Jackson Lee explained her opposition stems from what she sees as the bill’s the invasion of privacy, and called the legislation “Draconian.”

Is it legal to give a late-term abortion in her district in Texas? Say, around the 204th trimester?
It is odd, indeed, that folks who agree with the concept of killing a baby in the first place have any qualms about killing it because it is the “wrong” sex.
Once you’ve determined to kill the infant, is evil somehow mitigated or magnified because of the reason?
One caveat that may not be obvious: killing the child because birth would mean killing the mother is not evil - so evil is neither mitigated nor magnified. Here is my measure - if, and only if, the reason morally holds for killing a 3 year old, it can be morally applied to an unborn child.
If it weren't for court ordered minority voting districts, this Houston whore would be buying her beer and cigs with a Lonestar Card.

I can’t vote against her because I don’t live in her district. However, for the rest of my fellow Houstonians I apologize for foisting this affirmative action piece of garbage upon the rest of the nation!!!
I wonder if Jackson Lee is happy her mother didn’t abort her?
I lived in her district for a few years and took great pleasure in voting against her every other year. However, it was futile, I knew it and when the padded results were announced, I had to deal with that same old let down feeling that Soviet voters no doubt felt all those years.
Shelia Jackson Lee is a perfect example of a failed partial birth abortion.
This is what you end up with when 3/4ths of your brain are sucked out.
