U.S. government to use 'drones the size of GOLF BALLS to spy on AMERICAN citizens'
Daily Mail ^ | June 8, 2012 | Daily Mail Reporter

The Obama administration has been widely criticized for its increased reliance on drone strikes to kill suspected terrorists in Pakistan and Afghanistan, but according to published reports, a plan is now in the works to harness tiny drones to spy on U.S. citizens. A 30-page memorandum issued by President Barack Obama’s Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley on April 23 has stated that the drones, some as small as golf balls, may be used domestically to ‘collect information about U.S. persons.’ The photos that the drones will take may be retained, used or even distributed to other branches of the government so long as the ‘recipient is reasonably perceived to have a specific, lawful governmental function’ in asking for them.

Considering how incompetent government is, most of these things will break within a week.

If they are small they are difficult to notice and if the cameras are anything at all, they can stay out of range of gunfire. A small drone 100’ in the air would not even be noticed most of the time.

“Anything transmitting a signal can be tracked........doesn’t matter how high or small....”

I take it then we could purchase some sort of tracking device that monitored a certain distance in and around our property.

I’m certainly not the tinfoil type. But, when you take stuff like this and add some other data points, such as the fact that the Census Bureau collected a GPS fix on every doorway in America, you have to fear for your country, and your countrymen.

Good idea. Where can I get a trained Falcon?

I believe it has something to do with your choice of insurance carriers.

Electric Eye - Judas Priest

Up here in space
I’m looking down on you
My lasers trace
Everything you do

You think you’ve private lives
Think nothing of the kind
There is no true escape
I’m watching all the time

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye

Always in focus
You can’t feel my stare
I zoom into you
You don’t know I’m there

I take a pride in probing all your secret moves
My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye

Electric eye, in the sky
Feel my stare, always there
Theres nothing you can do about it
Develop and expose
I feed upon your every thought
And so my power grows

I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye
