The owl came to ask the Federales “Whoo-oo do you think you are?”
Just go up and shot the owl. Problem solved. Might have to get a few rangers as well.
Raise your hand if you didn’t see this one coming.
” It was early Friday afternoon, the first day of the Tombstone Shovel Brigade, and the rangers were out in force, hiking to the spot where dozens of volunteers worked with picks and shovels to move and bury Tombstone’s makeshift water line. “
There was a time, in Arizona, when those bird-watching Rangers would have disappeared without a trace..
Just sayin’....
More liberal bull****! Every time the commie ‘RATS don’t get their way, they dig out their “Mexican” Spotted Owl or “Mexican” Gray Wolf or some other “Mexican”. They probably saw a “Mexican” sparrow.
I used to own a lot more land than I do now. One day, my momma (passed two years ago) told me, “I saw what looked like one of them in one of your trees on the way over here.”
That weekend I “Poulaned” it. Case closed.
I am convinced that activists actually plant these endangered species and then lead officials to them.
I am certain that it happened in our county with some silly frog that was not native to this county.
On top of that, the spotted owl only living in old growth forests is an out dated theory, considering that in WA State, a spotted owl nested in a fir tree in a traffic circle in Everett, WA. The DNR people moved the nest to a more natural location.
I wonder, seriously, what brought the owl. Don’t owls need water just like every other creature? Could the excavation have brought both that and a shelter for the owl’s normal food?
Good science deserves to prevail here. Just because there’s a rare birdie around doesn’t mean that construction activity is going to make it go away.
I noticed that the CNN photo is of an owl in the forest, not that specific sighting.
If the Rangers forgot, they might try the local K Mart sign, spotted owls prefer those.
It's time for the County sheriff to show these creeps the door.
The owl probably put his nest there when he found out that there would be men working with shovels there. So why would that be bad of the shovel brigade???
“It’s time for the County sheriff to show these creeps the door.
3 Guesses who the County Sheriff of tombstone is? You really only need 1 guess. Yup, Maricopa’s Sheriff Arpaio.
2 cloves of garlic
light salt
2 tsp of sage
Well, there you go. If the owl survived the original pipeline installation, they can survive the repair. Case closed.
Wrong, Tombstone is not in Maricopa County, it is in Cochise County. Different Sheriff
<< 3 Guesses who the County Sheriff of tombstone is? You really only need 1 guess. Yup, Maricopas Sheriff Arpaio. >>
Bzzzt - Wrong answer. Tombstone is in Cochise County, not Maricopa County.
Durn it — Yes, i am wrong and I googled it too. It must have brought up “a tombstone in Maricopa” rather than City. Ha Ha — too late to get out of that one I know.
Sorry.
