Well, not a Wolf per se, but hybrid wolf-dog is not quite as eye-catching.

I don’t know, put another 20 lbs on him and

Yup....looks like a hybird mix. Someone might have had it as a pet & let it go.

Poor critter. I bet that’s somebody’s pet that was abandoned or lost. It looks like a “timber shepherd” maybe?
Need to check its ear for an RFID.

A cross of a wolf and a dog would not be a ‘hybrid’ in the classical sense. They would produce totally viable and reproductive offspring..........

I thought he was beautiful, too, and if you watched the video you saw he’s quite docile by nature; just don’t make him angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry. I know somebody like that.

I agree. It’s a dog, not a wolf. It looks like a cross between our akita and a collie, maybe. Our akita has almost the exact same coloring.

Someone will put 30lbs on her and she will charm everybody senseless with her beauty and ladylike manners while she’s assessing all their pets.
Yes, been exactly there. And this one is 7/8 wolf.

“Stories of coyotes or bob cats wondering into North Texas neighborhoods are not unusual, especially near wooded areas.”
About what were they wondering?

This ‘wolf’ is but one of a very few in existence.
Shouldn’t it be protected under the Edangered Species Act?

About what were they wondering? I can't proof it, but there are rumors of squirrels and opossums sighted in these very same thickets. Will try to run this down myself.
