Grand jury to get case of Texas dad who beat alleged child molester to death

A Texas prosecutor said the case of a rancher who beat to death a man he caught allegedly molesting his daughter will go to a grand jury to decide whether the killing was justified, or an act of excessive force.

The father, whose name has not been released by authorities, claims he caught the man trying to molest his 4-year-old daughter on his ranch Saturday. Although Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon said the girl’s father is unlikely to be arrested, District Attorney Heather McMinn told FoxNews.com the case remains under investigation and that the Texas Rangers have joined the probe.

“Once completed, [results of the investigation] will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office and it will be taken to a grand jury,” McMinn told FoxNews.com. “They’re still investigating what happened at this point.”

The grand jury will ultimately decide what charges -- if any -- the girl’s father will face, McMinn said.

This is a good move, and what should have been done in the Zimmerman case.

Yes, I agree. Quickly determine the facts and disarm the bomb the left would like to make of this.

The Texas Rangers are “no bull” guys. They will determine the facts and this will be quickly resolved.

I agree that the perp should no long waste oxygen, but it does make a difference to me if he was beaten to death after lying there unconscious.

Grand jury to get case of Texas dad who beat alleged child molester to death

So the child molester is “alleged” but the Texas dad is...already guilty? I do not know every detail of the case - did he confess? If not, why is he not also “alleged”?

In other parts of the country, I think this Grand Jury would properly be called a “BBQ kegger”, with the father the guest of honor. And rightfully so.

Good luck finding anywhere else in America that is more conservative or country than Shiner, TX.

Not to me! Why leave him around to molest some other child. The dead don't molest, can't sue, don't run up hospital bills, eat food or use up valuable oxygen.

Well, you have to be over 21 to consume alcohol in Lavaca County, so they’ll have to card the grand jurors before the BBQ/kegger. At least it’s not a dry county.

Just put an *A* between the *R* and the *P* and you will get a acurate title for this “civil rights” group.

The term “civil rights” have come to mean that some people are more valuable than others.

Would it serve justice to jail the father?

White males are no longer allowed to oversee any event, group, or project which might give the impression that they're 'racist, sexist or homophobic'. Companies, Courts, schools and other establishments choose not to take the risk of appointing or hiring white males to oversee anything where minorities are involved. It's not worth the risk of appearing racist! This is where we are in America.

Another sick phenomenon where placating the black community is king is that of whites turning on each other as they all vie for the coveted 'I'm not a racist' trophy issued by Al Sharpton. Whites today seem to be more interested in avoiding accusations of racism than they are exercising their honest and objective beliefs regardless the outcome. In short, once we resort to fighting each other to win the hearts and minds of the 0bama media, we are screwed.

I'll never forget when the incompetent Marcia Clark introduced a black man (Christopher Darden) as her co-prosecutor. This was done solely to appease blacks by showing them that the prosecution 'wasn't racist'. After all, they brought a black male prosecutor on board, right?.. Are we okay with you black jurors who thought we were just a bunch of whites going after OJ because he's black? Hmmmm? Now that Darden is going after OJ, this proves to you black jurors that perhaps OJ really might be guilty because after all, a black man is prosecuting him? This is the kind of crap we deal with now. The 'white establishment' is forced by the 0bama media and the racially biased black community (Holder, Al, Jesse, NBPP, black Congressman, etc) to worry so much about racial and gender 'APPEARANCES' that the core issues and results are merely a sideshow. In America today it's all about AVOIDING BEING TAGGED WITH A LABEL IN THE MEDIA.

In what state of dress or undress was the “alleged” victim found? Inquiring minds want to know!

The first white person to accuse another white person of racism is immunized from the accusation of racism from then on. It is something like the Salem witch trials, the people who accused others were never accused of being witches but the people who said nothing ran the risk of being arbitrarily accused of withcraft. Do unto others before they do unto you. Sick.

I agree with you, Texas fossil. I have complete confidence in the Texas Rangers. I also am confident he will be no billed. No way will they bring charges against him.

If this had happened in the small town in which I was raised, we would already have had a heroe’s parade for him.

Two things; first—we have to PUNISH the media by not watching their toxic dribble, second—we have to go after the government funding of all of these bogus *civil rights* organizations. Now that the government is broke, we have a good opportunity to take a hard look at where our money is going, no more wasting the taxpayers money on these leftist hate groups, and that is what we should keep calling them —hate groups. What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Another thing, watch what happens if Obama loses. The Dems are going to distance themselves from the mao-mao crowd realizing that white people have finally awakened. The Dems are going to give the *civil rights* groups the cold shoulder.
