Obama Admits He Can't Fix What Bush "Broke", So Why Reelect Him?

RUSH: Man, this guy, Bush, wow. What a tough son of a gun. Look at what this guy Rush has done. Here's Phil in Rockville, Maryland. Welcome to the EIB Network, Phil. Great to have you here.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Pleasure to talk to you.

RUSH: Thank you, sir.

CALLER: It just came to my mind that Mr. Bush has got to be an absolutely incredible individual if, three years after Mr. Obama was immaculated, he still has not been able to undo all the good works that Mr. Bush did.

RUSH: It is amazing, isn't it? After three-and-a-half years, everything that's happened the last three-and-a-half years, if it's all been Bush's fault, don't we have evidence enough now to know that Obama can't deal with it. Obama doesn't know what to do with it. We need to elect somebody who can stand up to Bush.

CALLER: Absolutely.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: And you're very wise to catch that, Phil. Thanks very much. It's exactly what he's saying. He's gonna blame Bush, and when he doesn't blame Bush, he's gonna blame Europe. Now, common sense tells me, after three-and-a-half years of trying to fix what Bush "broke", obviously we've got somebody who can't do it. What is it that argues for four more years of this guy? 'Cause if we reelect Obama, I'll tell you what's gonna happen. If we reelect Obama, folks, it's gonna get worse. We really are just seeing the tip of the iceberg, and I'm not being cliche about that. Wait 'til Obamacare fully implements, if it does, and the Bush tax cuts go away, and other tax increases, and the 16,000 new IRS agents or whatever the number is. The continued assault on fossil fuels. The investment in all the losing green energy products out there. And, as Obama promised Medvedev, "Hey, once I get reelected, I got lot more flexibility."

Folks, it's gonna get worse. And Obama is admitting he can't fix what Bush "broke". Why reelect him? It's just gonna be four more years of disaster caused by Bush, administered by Obama, who openly admits he can't fix it. 'Cause that's what he's doing. And he's gonna do it in his speech today in a little less than an hour. He'll blame Bush and then he'll blame Europe when he's not blaming Bush. And essentially he's saying that he can't fix this. He's gonna talk about all the efforts he's made, all the programs, all the policies. It just isn't working. It's so bad. That's the thing to keep in mind. That's the thing to ram down the media's throat.

I think this is one of the reasons why they're very disturbed at multiple levels of the Democrat machine, including the media. They're very concerned about this whining and blaming Bush, because at some point you're admitting you're incompetent. If you whine and complain, "This guy screwed it up so bad, not even I can fix it," it's unfixable, is the logical conclusion of this. The worst thing that can be blamed on Bush is Obama's election. That's, to me, what Bush is primarily responsible for.

“Of course at that time he was assuming what would follow was a natural cyclic recovery.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

A lot of people assumed the same thing at the time, I was more inclined to believe Gerald “there is no recovery” Celente. I think there are really a number of reasons for the problem other than Obama’s obvious incompetence plus his avowed desire to destroy America. Think what shape we would be in if he were competent! He would have the destruction completed by now and would not even need to run for another term. Obama has added greatly to the problem though and to expect him to fix it is like expecting the mugger who just shot you three times and took your money to stop the bleeding and save your life.

Bush struck the match that started the house on fire, but barry is holding the firehose that is dousing that house with gasoline.

Obama complains Bush didn’t know where he was headed and drove into the ditch.

But Obama doesn’t seem to know where the ditch is, or the road even after we’re in the ditch.

“...We didn’t know how bad it was” -—> how is that different from Bush? At least Obama has the advantage of hindsight, but he still has no clue.

The latest Obama talking point is it takes 10 years to turn an economy around.

What a f**king joke the Blame Thrower is!

If bad lags (from GOP policies) are at work during Oblamo Administration, how come Clinton ‘good economy’ wasn’t caused by the good effect of George Bush 1’s previous presidency & policies?

How come Rush isn’t pointing that out?

This is basically the same argument that you would have heard in 1936. After the election in 1932, Roosevelt really didn’t move the economy a single inch...other than hiring a massive number of folks onto the US gov’t payroll. The entire election of ‘36’ could be blamed on Hoover, almost in the same fashion that Bush gets blamed today. Had everyone in 1936 and 2012...worked to fix the banking situation and get them stabilized...then you would have had a fairly good step forward, but no one ever went in that direction.
