Atlanta GA --(Ammoland.com)- Award-winning citizen journalist and blogger Mike Vanderboegh along with regular AAR contributor and award-winning journalist David Codrea, join host Mark Walters to blow the lid off of Eric Holder’s and Janet Napolitano’s cover-up of Operation Fast and Furious on nationally syndicated Armed American Radio this weekend. (AAR is distributed nationally on the Salem Radio Network)

Vanderboegh and Codrea, the two men who originally broke the story now known as Operation Fast and Furious, will discuss claims from “multiple previously highly credible sources” that at least one, and possibly two high-ranking sources from within the Justice Department have “come in from the cold” seeking whistleblower status and “hold the keys to the kingdom”…with knowledge of Eric Holder’s actions before and after ” the 4 February 2011 DOJ letter denying that the DOJ and its subordinate agencies knew about ‘gunwalking’.”

In a second bombshell revelation, Vanderboegh reports that murdered ICE agent Jaime Zapata was investigating Fast and Furious weapons—despite Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s sworn testimony that there was no connection.

Armed American Radio is one of the fastest growing talk radio shows in America, and the fastest growing pro-gun show in the nation.

AAR airs live nationwide every Sunday from 8-11pm ET, 5-8pm PT. Each week Mark Walters discusses...

While the weapons found at the Zapata murder scene were not from among the Fast and Furious guns, this revelation is profoundly significant, because it directly contradicts sworn testimony by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

“I have no information to that effect, no. I don’t know one way or the other,” she replied to a direct question on any Fast and Furious connection by Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas.

Word games. Here's the little trick Napolitano, Holder and ATF are playing. F&F was an ATF operation run out of the Tucson AZ office. But some guns were walked out of Texas gun shops which puts them in the jurisdiction of Texas ATF offices so those ops must have had other names. So far I have not seen any reporting on what those op names were.

Armored SUV could not protect U.S. agents in Mexico

U.S. investigators recovered one of the military-style semi-automatic weapons used in the attack that killed Zapata.

The gun came from Texas.

Ballistic testing of spent shell casings and the raising of an obliterated serial number revealed the weapon was a popular Romanian-made AK-47 knockoff purchased at J&J’s Pawn Shop in Beaumont, smuggled south to the Zetas by a methamphetamine trafficker named Manuel Gomez Barba, a U.S. citizen.

Hillary is up to her bug-eyed eye balls in gun running to Mexican drug cartels through an entirely different operation and different agencies. The State Dept. and the CIA.

"Grenade-walking" part of "Gunwalker" scandal

And this...

Worse Than Gunwalker? State Dept. Allegedly Sold Guns to Zetas

Phil Jordan, a former CIA operative and one-time leader of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s El Paso Intelligence Center, claims that the Obama administration is running guns to the violent Zetas cartel through the direct commercial sale of military grade weapons:

Jordan, who served as director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s El Paso Intelligence Center in 1995, said the Zetas have shipped large amounts of weapons purchased in the Dallas area through El Paso.

(snip)

“They’ve found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era,” Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.

More about State Department involvement...

— has sources claiming “Obama’s man in the State Department,” (former) Deputy Secretary of State Jim Steinberg, was the State Department operative who helped Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General David Ogden formulate the strategy that led to the tactics used in Operation Fast and Furious.

Steinberg took office as Deputy Secretary of State on January 28, 2009

A little more than two years later, it was announced that Steinberg's time in the Obama State Department was over. From the New York Times, 30 March 2011:

Mrs. Clinton heaped praise on Mr. Steinberg, describing him as an “indispensable” partner. “On every foreign policy challenge, big and small, he has helped formulate our policy and oversee its execution,” she wrote. Mr. Steinberg, she said, played “Oscar to Jack Lew’s Felix,” referring to Jacob J. Lew, her other deputy, who left earlier this year to become Mr. Obama’s budget director.

The DEA and ATF were on opposite undercover cartel operations, and they participated in Shootout at the OK Corral, but the unlucky Border Patrol Agents got caught in the crossfire.

You're talking about BP Agent Brian Terry. These new revelations about ICE Agent Jaime Zapata do beg the question; was BP Agent Brian Terry set up for some reason?

There is reason to believe that Agent Terry's BORTAC team knew nothing about the rip crew and the rip crew knew nothing in advance about Agent Terry's team.

FBI Criminal Informant Complicit in Brian Terry’s Death (PJM Exclusive)

Previously, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s death in Peck Canyon, Arizona was described as a chance meeting that led to a firefight: an illegal alien “rip crew” working for the Sinaloa cartel was hoping to find other illegal aliens and to rob them at gunpoint. Instead, they stumbled across a Border Patrol unit and murdered Agent Terry.

Last week, the Washington Times offered a new version of the encounter: they reported that the rip crew was not hunting illegals, but Border Patrol teams — with the intention of engaging them in combat.

Sources now tell PJ Media that neither version of events is accurate: the rip crew was not waiting for a chance encounter with other illegals, nor did the members intend to engage American law enforcement agents.

The rip crew was in Peck Canyon that evening with the intention of stealing money and drugs from a specific shipment of which they had prior knowledge.

(snip)

The rip crew knew to be in Peck Canyon that December evening because a CI working for the FBI found out about a smuggling run — from the FBI.

(snip)

A source tells PJM that the FBI knew from wiretaps that the CI was using their information to set up an ambush. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) — through its own CIs and communications intercepts — was also aware of the planned assault. Neither the DEA nor FBI warned Border Patrol about the expected criminal activity.

(snip)

Multiple sources tell PJM that this third weapon “disappeared” because it was the weapon carried by the FBI CI who ran the rip crew. When it was recovered near the scene of the murder and subsequently traced by the ATF, it traced back to the FBI CI via the gun shop in Texas where it was purchased.

(snip)

Neither agency bothered to warn Border Patrol to keep their BORTAC teams out of Peck Canyon that evening. As a direct result of this FBI and DEA failure — combined with Homeland Security forcing BORTAC units to carry less-lethal beanbag rounds in some of their primary weapons — Brian Terry’s under-armed four-man unit walked into an ambush against a heavily armed rip crew, at least five of whom were carrying rifles.

Brian Terry’s murder was entirely preventable. The incompetence of the DEA and FBI let his Border Patrol unit walk into an ambush. After the ambush, it appears the FBI tampered with evidence to cover up that one of their informants was involved with the murder of a federal agent.

The gun came from Texas.

See my post #20.

Patterico is very interested in a probable Laredo connection.

Sure looks that way to me.

Holder has been stonewalling all these many months and now all of a sudden he’s ready to turn over info and have a sitdown with Issa?

Something’s got that boy spooked. He’s looking to cut a deal to save his own sorry skin, IMO.

Who does he have in mind as the sacrificial lamb? Nappy maybe?

Not to mention, Napalitano, who told Congress this had nothing to do with Fast & Furious and now it appears, it absolutely does.

Now, we have another American that was killed because of this corrupt operation. How many deaths, including Mexican citizens, is it going to take before the American Sheeple and the sheeple media, wake up? This makes me so angry and is so much worse than Watergate.

Why isn’t this on the Front Page News section?

The enemedia really tick me off. Watergate was child's play and they made Nixon out to be worse than a cold blooded murderer. Compared to what has happened with Obama, Holder and other thugs in the administration WG was a nothing.

We can get to the bottom of this if the doting court eunuchs of the MSM get on the story...

Where is the New York Times? Why isn’t the Washington Post doing more?

It's getting "deep" .... I think the Zapata situation is going to be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Link ... exerpt below

Congressional investigators permitted to view Department of Homeland Security documents related to the Fast and Furious operation have located and seen an Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) Report of Investigation (ROI) from August 2010 describing 80 weapons seized in an arms smuggling interdiction between Phoenix, Arizona and San Antonio, Texas. Of these weapons, the majority (approximately 50) were noted to have come from Operation Fast & Furious in Arizona, purchased by Uriel Patino and Jacob Chambers. The ROI was written and signed by Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Jaime Zapata, who was shot dead in an ambush at a fake roadblock in San Luis Potosí, Mexico on 15 February 2011. At the time of the report, Agent Zapata was assigned to the Laredo office.
