On Monday, Rep. Allen West (R-FL) said that he was “dejected” after Mitt Romney’s avoided taking a strong stand on President Barack Obama’s directive enacting portions of the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act. “It goes back to what my mother taught me, ‘a man must stand for something, or else he’ll fall for anything,’” said West.
Romney appeared on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday where he was asked repeatedly if he would repeal President Obama’s directive. Romney avoided taking a firm position on the matter during the interview, but indicated that he supports the underlying reform that the President’s directive has addressed.
“I believe the status of young people who come here through no fault of their own is an important matter to be considered and should be solved on a long-term basis so they know what their future would be in this country,” Romney told CBS’ Bob Schieffer on Sunday.
West told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham on Monday “I guess I feel a little bit dejected,” by Romney’s repeatedly avoiding taking a firm position on immigration.
West said he was firmly opposed to the President’s move to halt the deportation of the children of illegal immigrants.

I agree. I don't like it that Romney calls himself a conservative. But what he says and what is are two different things. He's on video saying just the opposite. The man is a sad choice. I agree with you 100%

They keep pushing to enslave real Americans by intentionally violating the Constitution and allowing an invasion of our land by the drug cartels. What amazes me is the fact that Romney was “da boy” hand picked by the GOP back in 08 when they lost the election with that sorry bastard, McNutts.
The “fix” has been in since that time and now the ignorant people vote him in as their 2012 candidate. The GOP now feels comfortable that their “boy” will continue to ensure the ways of past will remain so and all will continue to financially thrive while in public office.
It’s a very sad state of affairs when our leaders are bought and paid for by special interests for their interests only. Romney certainly had the “big bucks” heaped on his campaign by the elite and the other more qualified candidates simply withered financially on the vine.
Now, we’ve (not me) made our bed and now lay in it to sleep.

I would like to see Romney lose the nomination in the end but by no means will I ever want to see Obama win another term.
If the Elite Republican Party members thought , even for a minute, that Romney could beat obama inNovember 2012, he would not have been ordained.Sometime, some way between now and election day, Romney will throw the election to obama and his disciples. Just as Mc Cain did.

Now I do like Allen and I plan to vote for him, but he needs experience in politics.
We are all so tired of the Media MSM setting the dialog and hammering away at our answers no matter what our respective positions are, right?
This election can be won, and it can be won by a single minded focus on Obama’s record and nothing else.
Romney would be a fool, ala McCain, if he reacted to everything/ANYthing that Hussein threw against the wall to see what sticks.
