Rubio: 'It Feels Weird to Deport a Valedictorian' (RINO Barf Alert!)
CNS News ^ | 6/19/2012 | Susan Jones

(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) says the United States has "a significant illegal immigration problem" and needs to find a "balanced" solution:

"I mean, if you do something that somehow encourages illegal immigration in the future, it's counterproductive. On the other hand, it feels weird to deport a valedictorian who has been here since they were four years old and have done well in school. So, trying to find the balance there, that is important," Rubio told Sean Hannity Monday night. "What the President did by ignoring the Constitution, ignoring the Congress, makes it harder to find that balance, not to mention that it's offensive to the constitutional principles of our republic."

Rubio noted that a million people come into the U.S. through proper legal channels every year. "No other country even comes close to that figure," he said. "But if you even suggest that you have an illegal immigration problem and we need to do something about it, if you're a Republican, oftentimes the left will label you as anti-immigrant. And, you know, this is a slam-dunk issue that is easy -- it's just not true.

"You know, on the one hand, we do have a significant illegal immigration problem. It has to be confronted. It has to be solved. We cannot be the only country in the world that does not enforce its immigration laws. On the other hand, we have some very compelling human stories like the cases of these young people who have been here their whole life, who've grown up here, brought here at a young age, through no fault of their own, and it touches your heart to hear these stories. And trying to find a reasonable balance that honors both our legacy as a nation of immigrants and also with the legacy as a nation of laws is not easy."

In March, citing "prosecutorial discretion," federal immigration officials told a North Miami Senior High School valedictorian they were deferring deportation proceedings against her. Daniela Pelaez's case made national headlines after several thousand students, teachers and community members gathered in the streets of North Miami to protest her imminent deportation.

Rubio told Hannity that President Obama, in directing his administration to enforce part of a bill (the DREAM Act) that Congress did not pass, is applying a short-term fix to a "very significant issue that needs to be solved in a long-term way."

Rubio said one of the things that's not being discussed enough is "that the economy and the economic downturn under Barack Obama has especially hurt Americans of Hispanic descent." He noted that unemployment is higher among Hispanics than it is among other groups, and polls show "there's not as much intensity for the president as there was in the past."

He said President Obama, every week, comes out with another issue -- "to try to divide Americans against each other for the purpose of getting him reelected."

I say send the illegals back to where they came from.We don't want their kids ,they can take them with them.I don't care how long that they have been here. They can just be glad that they lived here as long as they did.Illegal is illegal! We have LAWS and they need to be enforced!

Rubio the RINO should review Mexico's immigration laws! Even he couldn't get in there. Too damned bad his parents chose America to nest in.

We are told how they ONLY come here to work the jobs that no one else wants. Then we hear how they are so smart and need to be permitted in-state tuition to public universities.

Sounds like they are targeted degreed professions more than just working mop buckets and lawnmowers.

So which is it, they are smart contributors to American corporations or they are lowly paid unskilled manual labor workers who are only taking jobs no one wants?

Liberals lie. Always.

feels pretty OK to know that 10+ percent of real American citizens are unable to find a job, though?

I had the pleasure of attending a high school graduation last month. “Valedictorians” don’t impress me much anymore. The key point of his speech was to have fun in Las Vegas after graduation. What?

Principles of common sense and Common Law dictate that a child should not benefit from the illegal activities of their parents. Were it not so, why not let the bank robber’s kids keep the cash???

Who gives a damn? Hell, if you were to aks someone in Obama’s White House, they’d prolly tell you “Yeah...Barack was Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Rastaforian at Yale, Harvard, Columbia University, and that college in CA that nobody can remember.”

The point is WE DO NOT NEED THESE PEOPLE, period! We didn’t ask for them - we only have/had to pay for them with our school taxes; our federal, state and city taxes; put up with them choking our hospitals and schools with the added benefit of having to have spanish language spoken to them because they won’t assimilate, and on and on and on and on.

They bring criminality, competition for low-skill jobs for real Americans, disease (a bunch of them), crowded schools, diminishment of neighborhoods, drunk driving, theft of identities causing untold billions in havoc on American Citizen lives.....everywhere you go you see these criminals.

Laws don’t say anything about feelings; they are absolute as to the facts. If we pervert these laws, we pervert the validity of all of them.

Send them the hell home.

If we take their kids (many times more than the 800K estimate), they will eventually reach a legal point where they can sponsor their illegal parents, brothers and sisters (chain migration). Within not too many years, 800K turns into many millions.

"On the other hand, we have some very compelling human stories like..."

...the family members and loved ones of those killed, raped or otherwise criminally victimized by illegals.

...the throngs of unemployed citizens who can't find a job hanging drywall, cleaning hotels or picking fruits and vegetables because of the glut of cheap illegal labor.

...the unfortunate Asian or African who has dreamt of seeking a better life in America and has saved their money, and spent hours and days on end in line at US embassies so they could immigrate legally, who have been denied or pushed to the back of the line because others were able to sneak across the border in the dead of night.

Yep. No shortage of compelling human stories to go around.

Yeah sure, whatever. People like Rubio talk like most illegal aliens are the cream of the crop. They even talk about illegal aliens who have served in the U.S. military. ILLGAGL ALIENS CANNOT ENLIST TN THE MILITARY! How many illegal aliens have served in the military? I wish somebody with a big microphone would yell out “B.S.!” evertime this bull crap is repeated.

Anyone that believes that there are just 800,000 of these poor little abused children has a frigging screw loose. Just like the ones that believe there are only 12 million illegals here. It is 5 or 10 times that.

First it was health care. Why these moms shouldn’t be refused pre-natal care.

Then it was, why these moms shouldn’t be refused service when they’re delivering.

Then it was said that we shouldn’t refuse the children health care in their infant years.

Why aide to dependent children, food stamps, Section 8, and other perks were needed to treat them humanely.

Then it was said that we shouldn’t deny them an education.

Then it was said that we shouldn’t deport them after high school.

Now it’s, we shouldn’t ever deport them.

The U. S. Citizen is the most long-suffering citizen (as it relates to being abused by foreign nationals) on the planet.

Where I live we do not have a shortage of illegals. Sure there are a few valedictorians but the majority of them drop out of school and become bangers. We have whole areas of town that are a war zone thanks to all those valedictorians.

Our loss is Mexico’s gain? Maybe if we send enough back they will help jump start its economy.

Hard cases make bad law. The exception proves the rule. About a quarter are full assimilated, about a quarter are misfits. Of course they will be in Mexico, too.

Rubio’s true colors are now showing. Disappointing. He’s gone off the deep end...hand in hand with Jeb Bush.

These complaints you list are a direct cause of a failed, so-called democracy.

The itinerate nit-wits we elect to Congress and to occupy the White Hut are only looking to preen their own feathers. They can’t succeed in a job outside the goobermint so they prance about in one of the two houses of our pathetic, sick government knowing full well that the C-Span cameras are locked on them.

If this pathetic, phony straw-man isn’t reelected in November we can look forward to the visible assets of the nation being set aflame while the police authorities stand idly by.
