Jerry Sandusky Found GUILTY of Molesting Children

Jerry Sandusky, the former Assistant Coach for Penn State, was found guilty today of molesting children. The high-profile began last year when almost a dozen people came out, revealing that Sandusky has molested them, which then resulted in the firing of Penn State Head Coach Joe Paterno.

Sandusky was found guilty of at least some of the almost 50 that were levied against him. The jurors deliberated for two days, starting yesterday.

Sandusky's stepson also stated yesterday that his father had abused him. However, jurors were not aware of this as they were sequestered.

Sandusky faces up to 400 years in prison.

It was the RCC that created a truly efficacious “madrases” system of religious indoctrination that makes it's “graduates” not only spiritually terrified of middle management priests but of ultimate damnation from politically appointed pontiffs—the “confessional” being the “water-boarding” that allows dissenting mindsets to be “corrected.”

One could say the RCC was the first truly fascist regime of monotheistic Western Civilization—albeit a benign one at times.

just heard on TV 3 months till sentencing. County jail for now.

Can anybody who understands the PA judicial system explain to me why it will take three months to sentence somebody who was just convicted of multiple counts of raping children? Three months? Why?

A few years back, I was on a jury in a murder trial. After we convicted him, the judge already had him sentenced to life without parole by the time we got our personal effects out of the jury room. As I was heading for the parking lot, the convicted murderer was already on his way to state prison to spend the rest of his life.

It just bothers me that this process is going to drag out another three months while Sandusky enjoys the summer in County jail (where he will get much better treatment than he would in a state prison - where he belongs today).

A mother should protect her kids against any other person in the world. No amount of money or peace is worth the life or happiness or safety of a child.

Sometimes the mother is the abuser and molester.

Another jury has found an official of the Catholic church (not a Bishop) guilty of sending pedophile priests from parishes where their activities got them into trouble off to unsuspecting parishes that were not aware of these transgressions. He could get up to 7 years. Other reports say this is only the tip of the iceberg, and a number of similar prosecutions should take place.

It is not a suggestion. The Catholic Faith is the True Faith.

“Gawd, how many have perished over the centuries from THAT bloody vanity!”

No one dies because of a vanity, and truth is never a vanity.

“Get your kids OUT of public schools.”

Of course there is absolutely NO danger that children in Charter Schools, or home schooled will NEVER encounter such problems. What if Sanduski’s kids had been home schooled? Home schooling is an excellent way to keep children away from outsiders to whom they might report abuse. I was speaking with a man yesterday whose girls, early teens, were in a private charter school. He said the teacher told the class girls could make more money as strippers than as college graduates. The angry father said to me, “What kind of message does that give to young girls, or to young boys for that matter.” The teacher left that school and is now working in a private religious connected academy.

Maybe she couldn’t stand having sex with this guy. Maybe he threatened to kill her if she left him. Who knows? He had a lot of power and influential friends. She could have had her own private hell to deal with. On the other hand, maybe she didn’t care. Hopefully, once he is away the truth will emerge.

“It is Roman Paganism that is the man-made sect and kidnapped the early Church.”

Roman paganism was extinguished by the Catholic Church 1400 years ago.

“It is the RCC that enticed pagans into their religion by telling them that they didn’t have to give up their multiple gods;”

False. There are numerous examples of Catholic missionaries destroying idols (Sts. Boniface, Ansgar, etc). What enticed pagans to join the Catholic Church was its teachings about Christ, heaven and its acts of charity.

“the RCC invented “saints” that were pagan gods with different names.”

No. Secularists and other morons make that claim but have never once actually demonstrated it. Take, for instance, how the same secularists say that the Mithraic Mysteries are the actual source of the Christian ideas about baptism and a savior. They’re wrong, of course. And so are you.

“And the pagans didn’t have to give up their goddess worship; they could now worship Mary otherwise known as Asteria.”

Again, no. First, they were not worshipping Mary. If you worshipped Mary you were a Collyridian and you were excommunicated.

“It was the RCC that invented another pagan concept known as purgatory.”

False. First, it is no invention. Second, clearly Jews believed in such a concept as 2 Maccabees 12 shows. Third, since in Catholic theology, the God who created purgatory is the Trinity, the God who cleanses souls there is the Trinity, and the God who won that grace to cleanse souls with in purgatory is Jesus, there is no rational reason to call purgatory anything but Christian.

“It was the RCC that murdered people that wanted to read the Bible in their own language instead of the vulgate Latin.”

Nope. Nevere happened. Not even once. I have a PhD in Medieval History and have researched this in at least six languages and there is no proof whatsoever that any such thing ever happened even once. The simple fact is translating the Bible into the vernacular was never viewed as a criminal act by the Catholic Church. Those two or three regions which had laws restricting translations never banned them outright and never executed anyone for translating or possessing a vernacular Bible.

“And when scholars translated the original Hebrew and Greek and discovered the many, many errors of the RCC bible, then they were murdered.”

Again, no. NEVER happened. Go ahead and list the two or three examples which don’t actually prove your claim. I don’t mind refuting them yet again here on FR. I’ve done it dozens of times before.

“And that is but a fraction of the history of blasphemy, heresy and apostasy of the RCC.”

You’re posting fantasies, not facts. And of course you post no actual examples of sources.

A very good statement of the problem. Pedophilia is about an inability to have honest strong relations with other adults. Anyone who thinks that getting kids out of public schools and into private schools or home schooling will solve the problem does NOT understand the problem. The more isolated children, and for that matter adults, are, the more likely they are to be abused in one form or another. Be suspicious of any adults who do not want their children or spouses to have outside friendships.

Could there be any connection between the prideful superiority of the Catholic church and its Pope and the serious problem with pedophile priests? Sandusky had the same kind of superior pridefulness and inability to even realize that he was wrong. Any institution which has an overwhelmingly inflated opinion of its own perfection stands in danger of serious mistakes, even a great University. The Greeks call it HUBRIS.

“I guess that kind of justice no longer happens in America.”

Just as the State and University official who ruined the lives of young boys are not YET being tried, so are the banksters who ruined the lives of many families and the housing industry not YET being tried. Anyone want to make book on which happens first, or if ever??

The problem among priests was not pedophilia, but ephebophila (look it up). All religious groups have people and even leaders (i.e. pastors, etc.) who are exposed as pedophiles or ephebophiles.

Good at paralogisms are you?

Being a member of the “one true religion” has a way of invoking self-delusional rationalizations.

Ask the Jihadists.

I just think clearly. Try it some time.

“Being a member of the “one true religion” has a way of invoking self-delusional rationalizations.”

What is more likely is that you simply can’t make an argument.

“Ask the Jihadists.”

I could just ask you since you seem to share with them a similar bigotry.

“Unadulterated faith in Christ would naturally entail love of His Church and avoidance of man-made sects.”

EXCUSE ME?? You mean the Catholic Church is NOT a man-made sect. If I recall my history correctly, the Roman Emperor Constantine wanted a unified system of religion to use for his statecraft. At that time there were a number of different branches of Christ believers. He basically said, get it together and come up with one Christianity for me to support politically. At Nicea after much arguing and counter-arguing the Nicean Creed was promulgated, making all other views heresies. After much fighting both intellectual and physical, the church at Constantinople succeeded in overcoming the very important alternative church at Alexandria. One result of this struggle was the move of some Alexandrian priests to Ethiopia where their form of Christianity has long persisted. Also the Coptic Christian Church followed by about 10% of Egyptians. Another result was the terrible, bloody destruction of the Albigensian heresy in southern France almost a thousand years later.

The ONE TRUE CHURCH was thus the MAN MADE result of a political decision made by a powerful man, the Emperor Constantine. This kind of ignorant pridefulness is just the kind of thing that enables someone like Sandusky or the pedophile priests to justify their behavior.

After reading all the comments and taking another look at the picture of them leaving the court, I just had to caption the picture.

Him: But honey, you can’t really believe everything they are saying, can you?

Her: [Thinking] Oh, shut up, let’s just get out of here fast.

I want to reiterate that the fans and supporters of PSU are not to blame at all. Getting PSU under the lights in the 70’s @ Neyland Stadium was a work of genius.

I do not exonerate the actions of this pedophile while Paterno new he had a problem. The program is going to take a serious hit. JoPa shamed his legacy by not being truthful. He would demand nothing less from his players.
