It is all so confusing, and YES, this is a helluva good campaign, just all of us admitting we are racist takes a weapon out of the Libs hands.....

His night in Denver between the Greek columns validated my assumption. At the time I could sense that he would leave John McCain in the dust and I wrote about what I felt would be the result of his ascension to the presidency. My take was that he would be a national failure and would not be able to correct his course of governance because of ego, incompetence or both. My prediction was that in their eagerness to break the color barrier the liberals would set back the effort towards character or merit judgement and make it very hard for a genuinely talented black leader to get in this position for a long time to come.
In retrospect I think some of my prediction is coming true and that much of his failure may have come from the fact that he is very strong personality in face to face dealings and no one around him has the courage to stand up and say, "no".
