Wealthy Conservatives Working to Unseat Obama, Take Back Senate
The New American ^ | June 29, 2012 | Bob Adelmann

Posted on 06/30/2012 11:32:33 PM PDT by Innovative

Las Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Adelson announced his intention on Friday to give $10 million to political action committees controlled by Charles and David Koch who in turn are themselves giving substantial sums to unseat President Obama and turn control of the Senate back to the Republican Party.

Adelson's intentions are to give upwards of $100 million in support of conservative causes. He explained:

What scares me is the continuation of the socialist-style economy we've been experiencing for almost four years. That scares me because the redistribution of wealth is the path to more socialism, and to more of the government controlling people’s lives. What scares me is the lack of accountability that people would prefer to experience, just let the government take care of everything.

This is music to the ears of the Koch brothers, who have been providing support for conservative causes for years, starting with their father's establishment of the Fred C. and Mary R. Koch Foundation in 1953. The senior Koch was an early member of The John Birch Society and noted in a speech in 1963 his concern about "a takeover" of the United States government by communists who would "infiltrate the highest offices of government in the U.S. until the president is a Communist, unknown to the rest of us."

We never see that story written, do we?

There are lots of stories we never see written - - like how "politicized" the Supreme Court is when the liberal bloc pulls off an upset thanks to one "Republican" traitor, or the daily updated KIA totals from Afghanistan that were prominent on the front pages of newspapers during the Bush years.

These "wealthy conservatives" should focus on finishing off the scumbag Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms. Personally, I want everybody who works for the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms to lose their jobs, their homes, and their families. For what they have done to America they deserve nothing less. It brings joy to my heart every time I read another story about a newspaper shutting down, or the NY Times announcing another round of layoffs.

Ima calling BS on this one. If he has that kind of dough, and that desire, how is it Harry Reid is still the Senator of Nevada ?

It’s rhetorical, I already know the answer.

Those are my exact feelings too.

My local newspaper, the Minneapolis StarTribune (aka The Red Star), is every bit as bad as the NY Times. I wish them, as well as many other media outtlets (CBS, the Washington Post, etc) only the absolute worst.

This is a 30% jump in what Adelson said he would give just a month ago. This is very nice, but he and the Koch brothers are not the only big money conservatives who are giving big money.

Clooney goes to Europe to fund raise for Obama, what a good American! Americans make him a star and this is the repayment. It’s time we repay him back, anything clooney is a no go. Lets see if europe can keep him in diamonds and furs

I suppose Obama has finally peed in all of Lost wages swimming pools enough times.

I know from living there many years ago you don’t diss with the casinos in Vegas, they will go after you.

In the future of a successful conversion to an Obama utopia the casinos will see very little business, nobody will have expendable income.

Add them and they can spend what the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson have to spend.

That is why Obama is freaking out sense Wall Street has left him 35 Million to Roomey to 4.7 Million Obama

His Young can't nor will send him the money they did in 2008.

Duke power had to back the loan so the Democrats could have a convention.

This is going to be my highest political spending year yet. So far I’ve given $700 to save Walker, $350 to the Romney campaign, and about $200 to the RNC, and another $100 to the Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama. Although I previously donated to Cain and Santorum, I’m all in with Romney now because it’s a choice between terminal cancer and not cancer. What I’m looking for now is a totally unhousebroken PAC, like the great Swiftvets of 2004, that’s devoted exclusively to damaging Obama as much as it can with whatever accurate information it can develop, PC be DAMNED!!

Be of good cheer. Wonderful as these guys are and great patriots that they are, they are only leaders, great leaders, leading by example, many of the rest of us who do not have all of their financial resources to do far more than we might otherwise do to defeat this ghastly abomination.

Surely your memory isn't so short as to forget how Dingy Harry wrested his seat back with all his union shenanagins during the last "election".

Amazing how the John Birchers were ostracized for decades. But had they been in charge, all the successful Communist takeovers of our educational system, civil service, foreign service, law schools and teachers colleges, and elsewhere could have been stopped. Instead we got douchebag Rockefeller “Republican” traitors who helped the Communists destroy America.
