A little over a week before America celebrates its 236th birthday, Wisconsin-based flag seller Liberty Flag & Specialty Co. filed for bankruptcy protection.

I just bought a new one yesterday. They are the only flags I can find MADE IN THE U.S.A!

I’m surprised how many supposed patriots buy crappy American flags. (And last year, I checked—Walmart’s flags were made in the USA).
Have you noticed that under Obama there have been numerous stories about neighborhood associations banning the display of the American flag? We never saw stories like this when Bush was president, but now it happens all the time.
As long as Obama is president, more people will be prosecuted for flying the American flag and people will stop buying American flags.
A companies making those “Che” T shirts flourish.

Out-of-control Homeowners’ Association threads have been a staple of FR for as long as I can remember.

Last time I looked Wally World sold American made U.S. Flags. And that was just recently.
So try again.
Smoot-Hawley was when we exported everything. Thus, it was counter-productive.
Now we’re in the opposite situation.
Completely.
We need to export. Massively export.

Liberty Flag is a SELLER. They buy the flags from Eder, to whom they owe a crapload of money.
Eder makes flags here in the U.S., is NOT going bankrupt, and sold nearly twice as many flags as were imported into the U.S. last year. And Eder claims demand is rising.
Interesting side note: They say flagpole sales are outpacing American flag sales. Hmmmmm....
We only exported $1.48 trillion worth of goods last year. About 10% of GDP. Hardly anything at all.
Why can’t you follow the logic? We must raise taxes on ourselves because Walmart sells American flags made in the USA.
I bought my American flag from Walmart a year ago and it was also “Made in America.”
I think I see the problem...

A NINE employee shop has executive”s” & a headquarters. Sounds like they could trim some overhead!
