Sarah Palin at the GOP Convention (Vanity)

OK; we've waltzed thru this crap long enough. Do you value the Conservative vote?

Let Sarah speak prime time at the GOP convention; she'll deliver the northern rust belt and other border working class states...

GOP- reject this message at your own peril.

” So I get accused of being a libertarian because I don’t like Republicans,”

I presume you mean RINO’s or GOPe’s. I can count on one hand Republican CONSERVATIVES in D.C.

Romney has got to find a southern white attack dog like Lee Atwater. One who has a history of getting along with moderate and conservative black people,(like Atwater did). We need a man who can rip Obama’s head off in public, and survive the MSM “Race card”. My fear is a contest run by “the whore of all whoredom” Karl Rove.

SJB! SoL! My old FRiends! Good to see you both today!

We could use a Lee Atwater about now, however the latest rumors suggest that Romney is considering a 'northern white bassett hound' (aka Tim Pawlenty), who is about as aggressive as the late Pat Paulsen.

I keep hearing it bandied about that Sarah Palin has not been invited to speak at the GOP convention. Yet, I see no evidence of that from reliable news sources. Has the list of speakers already been announced? If so, can they please post it here so that we can see who is speaking and at what time?

McCain led Obama for a week after he announced Palin as his running mate. The they muzzled her and McCain went right back to trailing and flailing.

Sarah Palin’s endorsement still means something. And he needs the endorsement of a known fighter. If he won’t bring Palin to the Party floor, then he needs to quit playing defense and go on offense.

they’re trying to re-write the history of the 2008 campaign to blame her squarely for McCain’s loss.

McCain didn't even fight. He fought ten times harder against JD Hayworth to keep his cushy Senate gig than he ever did against Obama. GOPe re-writing the narrative to pin the loss on Sarah does more to show how pathetic and weak the Party is in picking and supporting candidates than it does to bring down Palin.

I presume you mean RINO’s or GOPe’s. I can count on one hand Republican CONSERVATIVES in D.C.

Watching Republicans on TV, especially on those Sunday shows makes me a shamed to call myself Republican, as does watching Romney whine and complain and that rodent Rove trying to explain what is going on between Romney and Obama. These losers are pathetic.

Dems are going to bait Republicans into claiming that raising Romney's taxes by even $1 will destroy the economy, and they will. They actually think that's an argument.

Romney only supported stuff like the Ryan plan to win the nomination, now he cant talk about it when asked because he has no idea how to argue for stuff he was forced to say he was for. Losers!

at some point we [the FRee citizenry of the Republic] needed a statesman that was content to stand for his conscience and to hell with the next election...and to do so in a BOLD way...

sure there were a few here and there, and they were all allowed to be marginalized and alinskyed into obscurity, but there were no Jeffersons or Henrys to be seen...

the landscape today is lil more than satire for future generations...

I wasnt as critical as the rest of you for Palin helping McCain even as much as I dislike him, but this making Palin out to be Joan of Arc is too much to stomach.

My main problem with her is the phony POTUS run and how long she strung that out, and more than her its the fools (including the MSM and FNC) who actually bought it. She must be much smarter than them, not saying much.

*** BUMP ***

Absolutely right FRiend! If that miserable sonuvabitch had unleashed the same sort of fury against 0bama that he did against a true conservative like J.D. Hayworth, McCain would be most likely cruising to renomination in Tampa this summer, and Vice President Sarah Palin would be the heir apparent in 2016. But noooooooo!!!!, McCain told America that we had "nothing to fear from an 0bama Administration" and threw the damn election to the Kenyan douchebag.

RE :”Having said that, there IS a disturbing tendency on her part to endorse absolute, unquestionable, liberal RINOs such as McCain, Hatch, Fiorina, etc., when she KNOWS better. If she did not think the more conservative candidate could win, (Hayworth, Liljenquist, DeVore), then she should have just stayed out of the endorsement business.

Never ceasing to be different, you know me :) I was not impressed with her choice of Sharon Angle at all. Angle came off as a nutbag and allowed Reid who was very unpopular in NV to STILL win re-election and as Senate leader again.

Sue Louden seemed like a find candidate in the NV Senate primary against Angle, she was no RINO and she didnt say stupid stuff like : “Americans on unemployment comp are soft” to a electorate SHE NEEDED in NV with the highest unemployment in the country, that was just stupid, Then she tried to hide from the media, and she still got caught saying stupid stuff on camera in a school anyway.

One of my rules is to not defend nutbags, and they better not embarass me.

C'OD in DE was no prize either but there wasnt a good alternative there, and it wasnt a trophy seat either.

My face is here if you dig.

I’m not anonymous. Feds know who I am. I made it easy for them.

Blow on, hero.

You’re pretty talented at throwing rocks- are you capable of leading anyone?

Just pointing out, for all his negatives (and there are quite a few) McCain picked Palin out of Alaska and brought her forward from zip.

He mis-played his hand and lost, but he did that thing right.

Everything else though, was pretty much exactly wrong.

:D

It is politics, after all- no one in my lifetime has a perfect score. Reagan, especially, quirks and shortcomings but his overall positive energy and patriotism was so refreshing.

SP has that same quality- she may have repaid some favors or whatever but she IMHO has maintained a postive trajectory.

There won’t be a perfect person on this plant until Jesus sets foot again.

And you are exactly what?

You sound pretty tough from a distance, rock-chucker.

It’s fairly obvious I haven’t been hanged for espionage/treason yet. Tell us what it was like when you did it.

Sorry cubby, but the fact that you equate your anonymous internet chest thumping with Nathan Hale’s last words, spoken with the noose around his neck, is well, pathetic.
