In a memo, DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse outlines aggressive response to BS Romney claim.
DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse outlined an all-out response to Mitt Romney's attack on President Obama over his "You didn't build this" line which the president and independent fact checkers have said has been taken out of context.
"In conjunction with OFA, we're going to turn the page tomorrow on Mitt Romney's trumped up, out of context fact-checked-to-death BS about the President and small business and set the record straight on how Mitt Romney has a horrible record on small business." Woodhouse said in a memo sent to BuzzFeed, saying there will be on-the-ground events across the country including in Massachusetts to rebut Romney's attack.
The memo follows an ad from Obama rebutting the Romney campaign's version of what the president said.
The Romney campaign has maintained that the context only makes the original quote worse, but regardless, their attack clearly has Democrats worried Obama has twice in two days responded to it himself.

When Defending the Undefensible, Always Double Down on Stupid
Are they that Stupid
You think they would be smart enough to try and change the subject, but, then again, what to?
This has been Obama over and over.
Barack Obama is Mitt Romney’s best gift today.
The context of Obama’s quote makes it even worse. He mocks, in a condescending tone, the hard work and intelligence of small business owners. (”I’m always truck by those who think they worked harder...”)
This must be polling horribly for them to go to these lengths.
How does that work?
Obumbo already doubled down. Isn't that "going nuclear?" What else do they do after that?
Maybe they'll announce that some major 'D' officeholders who were planning to skip their national convention have changed their minds and now will attend. That'd be a biggie.
When your enemy wants to do something stupid, get out of his way.
“Taken out of context.” What a joke. The fact that they are so upset about this speaks volumes. They are so upset because Obama said what he really believed, just as he has over and over and over before. This basic message is that we need to “spread the wealth around” because rich people didn’t earn their own money and didn’t build their own businesses. And the middle class and poor people who support conservatism are bitter clingers. That his what he believes, period.
>> Are they that Stupid
No, they’re that RUTHLESS. But they think WE’RE that stupid.
Gonna backfire. Anyone who pays the least attention knows Barky’s smack talk was perfectly in context and perfectly in alignment with his marxist principles.

Yeah...and just listen to his speech...
sounds like a Rev White church rant with all the audience participation..
I half expected a "chickens coming home to roost" or worse.
The simple reply to the “taken out of context” comment should be “by all means, please listen to the entire quote”
No You Didn’t is the new Hope and Change
Funny, the same fact-checkers said Obama's outsourcing attacks against Romney's Bain tenure were worth three to four Pinnochios, yet that crew kept up that line of attack.
I guess this is what you do when you've screwed up by telling the truth about what you really feel - get all indignant at the other side for making hay out of it.
Bad strategy because it keeps the story in play for several more news cycles.
Bring it, Buttmunch.
It's Joe the Plumber 2.0. Only this time I think it's gotten a little more of the public's attention.
For much of politically awakening America the gaffe puts a finger on what has seemed wrong with Obama, but they could never quite articulate it. Whether Barack was awkwardly and ungrammatically referring back to public works bridges and such, or referring, as the grammar suggests, to enterprises themselves, he vastly overestimates the need for his trademark kind of nanny government. Government’s rightful task is not to be a nanny but to keep a minimal amount of order and external security. People could and did beat paths and roads long before there was any organized government to help.
Impossible!! Why, just today the NBC/WSJ poll shows Obama leading 49%-43%!
Oh wait... sampling was +11 dems... LOL!!!
I think I see those chickens coming in for a landing...
Yep. Just keep rubbing salt in that wound. Just keep reminding us of the condescension Obama has for the rest of us.
Yep...and, in 3 or 4 weeks we’ll be talking about how many millions of dollars Obama wasted on his failed campaign to smear Romney over Romney repeating EXACTLY what Obama said.
