Pennsylvania’s voter identification law could sink President Obama’s reelection campaign, according to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

“Pennsylvania’s new ‘voter I.D.’ law could literally decide the fate of President Obama’s re-election,” wrote DCCC field director Brynne Craig. “It’s not the first time that Republicans have tried to suppress the vote — but in an election this close, it could be the tipping point that delivers the Presidency to Mitt Romney.”

Am I the only one who wondered why Delaware County Community College was making this statement? (grin)

AAHHHPFFFT! Wha-wha-what are you trying to say?!? The DEMOCRATS would cheat to gain some margin of advantage in an election? Don’t they know that would cause them to lose the good faith of the public? Are they sure they could live with the consequences of that scorn and disapproval?

Well, apparently the Democrats CAN do just that. They have been doing it for decades now, and not suffered in the least. Not in their own minds, anyway.

Our voter ID law was a booby prize bone thrown to us when GOP Chairman Rob Gleason twisted enough arms to keep us from enacting electoral vote allocation on the basis of congressional districts as is done in Maine and Nebraska.

The bill was introduced by our senate majority leader, we had a majority in the house and a GOP governor pledged to sign it into law. Had Gleason stood down, we would be getting a minimum of 12 of Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes and Zer0's math would be seriously more complicated. As a side benefit, there would automatically be less voter fraud in the commonwealth because there would be less to gain from it.

As an animal lover, Axelrod is nothing like a weasel or any other rodent, which are beautiful creatures. He’s just an evil man who belongs in prison.

So they are back at Democrats are too stupid and broke to have a photo I.D or driver’s licence.

Except when they need food stamps, getting stuff on credit, going to college, or buying booze?

If the dead, homeless and illegals can’t get it done in Philly they will do it with the absentee ballots. If not that,they will disrupt the Polls to try to invalidate the final numbers.

“It’s not the first time that Republicans have tried to suppress the vote

"Suppress" - my interpretation of the meaning in this context is:
Having only legally registered CITIZENS vote;
Making potential voters produce identification to prove they are who they say they are;
Allowing a voter to only vote only once and in their district;
Dead people are ineligible to vote;

I'd think that the Rat Party *wants* Constitutionally unqualified people to vote in a Presidential election.

ONLY for them, otherwise they will scream bloody murder!

Or when they have to go to the courthouse in Harrisburg, early in the morning in the middle of the week, to testify that they have been “disenfranchised”

“It’s not the first time that Republicans have tried to suppress the vote —

In what bizarro world does having a voter prove they are who they claim to be considered suppressing the vote?
I have to show ID to exercise my 2nd amendment right to purchase a firearm, you can show ID to prove you can vote for an asswipe like Obama........

What will happen is that the popular Democrat precinct workers in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will ignore the new voter ID law. And nothing will change, PA style.
