DEVELOPING: Maryland authorities have thwarted an alleged mass shooting plot and seized an "arsenal of weapons," Fox News has learned.
WJLA-TV reports that police foiled what they believe would have been a mass shooting by an Anne Arundel County man. The station, citing police sources, said the suspect was about to get fired from his job. He was arrested in Crofton, Md., Thursday night.
A source close to the investigation confirmed the report to Fox News, saying the "subject is emotionally disturbed." The man called up his workplace and threatened to shoot people, the source said.
When police took the man into custody, they found an "arsenal" of weapons inside his home.

An “arsenal” of weapons can mean a whole lot of things to different people.
Their idea of “arsenal” could just be the overflow I have stored in my front closet...

This would be timely - and may be on national news quite a bit, especially in light of the Denver stuff. Liberals will want to make hay - especially when they spout how Anne Arundel is more “conservative” and gun-loving than its surrounding neighbors.

It said he ‘Called his employer and threatened to shoot people’. That is a great way to land in jail without accomplishing anything.
Wondering if it’s the same bunch who raided that Mayors house by mistake and killed his black lab?
Maybe he did accomplish something important to him. Instead of starving on the outside, with no health coverage, he will be fed regularly and get free healthcare.

They should take the lesson of John Brown and the raid on Harpers Ferry to heart. Sure, they lost and were killed, but at least they actually did something first.

His name is Neil Prescott and typically, mass shootings are done by white guys (at least in this country).

Good thing they didn't have to do any actual work, just show up at the guys house.
