(vanity)We were there, Chick Fil-A Paramus, NJ
8/1/12

Posted on 08/02/2012 12:54:48 AM PDT by Impala64ssa

We were at the Chick Fil-A at the Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ. The first time I ate at this place since the mall opened in 1974, and it was pretty darned good. I highly recommend the peach shake. What's noteworthy is this particular Chick fil-A is one of the few remaining original teneants at this mall. No media coverage, other than the local cable news. Considering how heavily democrat Bergen Cty is they had quite a turnout and everyone seemed in good spirits. And the crowd was quite a bit more, (I HATE this word) diverse than a typical environmentalist rally or OWS protest.

Nice Pics! Seems that you are part of the Chick-Fil-A revolution...heh. Worth remembering and saving - a major event for Conservative thought in an bad political climate.

We went to the one in Greenwoo, IN. The place was packed. Cars around the building, police dirrecting traffic, people lined up outside both door. Took over an hour to get our food. Entirely worth the wait for a good cause.

Yorktown Virginia was packed as were all the local shops.
The local ABC affiliate is not covering the story this morning. (I missed the evening report so I don’t know if they even mentioned it last night.) They are, however, reporting the “new” poll showing Obama’s in the lead in several swing states as news (still) this morning. This poll, it has been pointed out by many, weighed debtocrat voters by a higher margin than they have ever voted in actual elections.
The people KNOW that it was a fun night at Chick fil A even if the news won’t report it and many in line remarked that, come November they WILL show up again at the polls.

“The local ABC affiliate is not covering the story this morning.”

In the second half hour they reported on tomorrows planned, “Kiss in” as a report to yesterdays support.
I bet they give coverage to that more in line with the OWS protest.

I hope folks who came out to CFA will get out to vote in November.

I wnet to Chick-Fil-A in O’fallon, MO at 6:15 in the evening and the line was out the door the drive thru was way backed up. It took me almost an hour to order and get my food but the few people I chatted with were impressed with how the employees were handling things. I sense a wave coming in November. There are some motivated people out there on our side.

OMGosh - when I first saw your post I was wondering if this is the same Chick fil a I loved 35 years ago. It is! I lived and worked nearby and went there often. I have loved Chick fil a ever since.

I often think of some of my other favorites at Paramus Park. The Magic Pan, for sure — wish they’d bring that chain back — and also another wonderful French restaurant upstairs....can’t remember its name, though.

I was at a Chik-Fil-A on West Broad in Richmond, VA. The line was out the door & the drive-thru line snaked around the parking lot. There was no media that I could see. But a really pleasant, attractive group of people, young and old, rich and poor. I said, if we lose free speech, we lose everything, and many voiced their agreement. West Richmond is so clean, ordered, polite and happy. A stark contrast to the cesspool that is Norhern Virginia.

We went to breakfast at the CFA 5 miles from us just west of Bowie MD. Outstanding chicken biscuit! 2/3 of the staff was black and as friendly and helpful as reputed. The store was immaculate. Very impressive.

Interesting to see a physical manifestation of the conservative movement like this. Huckabee asked for the day and a few million tweets later, every Chick-Fil-A in the country was packed with conservatives.

Gotta be scary for the MSM to see the alternative media in action.

When you look at the menu, the fare has to better for you health-wise than at the burger joint next door. Also try asking for that chicken biscuit with “bacon, egg, and cheese.” it’s not in their menu, but my CFA makes it for me. That’s a breakfast! You can skip lunch!

I've gotten two automated polling calls in the last month or so. I've been specifying that I'm a young, black, female, democrat 8-)

What we saw yesterday at CFA’s across America is just the tip of the iceberg. The real chicken-plucking will happen in November!

Thanks for your support.

They need to be polling the folks in line at CFA. Then you might learn who America will be voting for in November.

The Magic Pan, you’ve jogged my memory. The French restaurant was called the Brasserie IIRC. to Jahn’s had an ice cream place up there also. My parents would take us there for our birthdays. My favorite was the Acropolis, loved the gyros and souvlakis. We are getting OLD!
