After a long and sharply contested GOP primary battle, many Republicans, conservatives and tea-party types have been left questioning whether they can, in good conscience, vote for Mitt Romney in November.
Romney’s statements as a former advocate of legalized abortion, his hotly contested record on same-sex marriage and his health-care reforms while governor of Massachusetts – sometimes maligned as “Romneycare” – have left conservatives uncertain if the presumptive Republican nominee is really one of their own.
Tea-party darling and former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, however, is basically dismissing the concerns, telling Fox News Channel’s Shannon Bream that Romney has the Republican Party’s conservative base in the bag.
On “America’s News Headquarters” over the weekend, host Bream asked Palin if Romney’s choice of Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., as running mate would help persuade those “not completely sold” on the name at the top of the GOP ticket...

I’m with Sarah, ABO and *I* have her back and their back this time around.
I think Catholics are also a cult, because they follow orders from the Pope. We had a catholic president named JFK, and he was the first president to push for and get passed tax reduction, during my lifetime. He turned out just fine.
If Romney is elected I could’nt give a rat’s behind about his religion since he is not running for Pope. His dad was also most likely the same religion as him, and he was a very popular governor of Michigan for many years. I am not aware of any Mormon edicts he forced on Michiganites.
I have 2 kids about to graduate from the 27th highest rated university in the WORLD, university of Washington. My biggest issue is if there will be suitable jobs for them or they will end up as statistics along with the 50% college grads who can’t find jobs. It is obvious if Obama gets 4 more years, the economy will look like Greece.
My issue is economy, not religion.

Palin ONLY mentioned FISCAL CONSERVATIVES as the “Base” of the party. Why did she not mention the others? Especially the SOCONs. I want to know IF she has sold us out like the rest of the GOP establishment.
I DO question Romney’s military credentials. He was playing Mormon Missionary selling snake oil when he should have been serving in the military. Of course, Obama was being a community organizer. In my thinking a Mormon spreading a false Gospel is NO better than a community organizer spreading racial division; both are snake oil - both hurt people. Either man is ONLY as good as the military officers he surrounds himself with. I don’t know what Romney will pick as military advisors...maybe that new Lesbian general? After all, he is for homosexuals (more than Ted Kennedy!). She out to be a good advisor to him.
On Moral issues. Well, Myths record is pretty bad....just as Obama’s is. I see no gain in that arena.
So, it looks like ONLY fiscal conservatives will benefit from a Myth election.

I have friends and family members who abhor abortion but have been wishy-washy about the abortion issue. SOme of them have come to realize that the law itself matters; others, I'm still working on.
Let's give converts to the pro-life position credit for their sincerity and turn on them only if they actually betray the cause. (Here's an example of a faux pro-lifer: Bob Casey Jr in Pennsylvania. He is ostensibly pro-life, but worked hard to elect Obama. He can go scrath.)

I would rather vote third party and hold Obama in check. Strangely, he is the ONLY thing that currently (remotely) unites the GOP. Take him away and all HELL will break lose. Only a true conservative GOP POTUS tied to a GOP controlled congress will do good. A liberal GOP POTUS tied to a GOP congress will produce LIBERAL things. At least the OBAMINATION forces the GOP to unite to hold him in check. It won’t happen under ROMNEY. Ryan will have ZERO positive effect on Romney and he will do more good staying in the House.

I will speak no ill of Ryan save the company he keeps and allies himself to in the form of Romney. Were Ryan the candidate, and another his running mate....I WOULD vote for Ryan. However, I cannot vote for Romney. As Jim Robinson said, and I have also, Romney is evil.
Obama is very obvious an clear evil like a known poison - you recognize what you are getting. Romney is more insidious. Romney is chocolate covered poison....that makes him even more evil in my thinking. He is deadly, in in stealth fashion. And he deceives good people with his lies, just as he does as a Mormon peddling a false belief and perversion of real Christianity.
