Last week my opponent put out a tv ad depicting me beating women. That ad is disgraceful and despicable. As a husband and father of two daughters, I found Congressman Todd Akin’s comments about rape to be in the same vein. These comments are simply unacceptable. There is no place in politics for these type of comments and attitudes toward women.
OK. But what does Jim Thompson think?
Allen West is a cowardly RINO “bed-wetter” Communist.
I think I covered the spread here for bean-dog and the other few “defend Akin at all costs” posters left.
The guy clearly meant to say “legitimate CLAIM of rape” i.e. forcible rape as opposed to several kinds of things which nobody would have been charged for in 1960 and most people wouldn’t even have called rape; but the phraseology was so abominable as to disqualify anybody using it in public from any sort of high office.
So is Allen West a bed wetter too?
So the lesson is; keep your mouth shut and just stick cigars in your intern's twat.

Akin is done, when you lose Allen West, it’s over.
Why would you even want to get into that discussion regarding what are legitimate and what aren’t legitimate claims of rape.
Unless they are condemning it, I don’t want to hear any other GOP male politicians talking about a rape or a female’s reproductive system for the rest of the year. It’s a lose-lose topic at this point, especially with the tremendous Democrat vulnerability on the economy. These distractions are not needed.
Democrats and the media finally have a gaffe they can latch on to like leeches.

No doubt. I have a rep for standing up to just about anyone, but I have a strong hunch Allen West could stop my ass into the ground.
This was no gaffe. Putting an e on potato is a gaffe. A comment from which the logical conclusion is that if a woman is a pregnant, then it wasn’t legitimate rape, is political suicide.
Queue up John Madden.

Wiser words have never been typed smoothsailing, now that Akin has lost the BLACK, bed-wetting vote, he is TOAST.
He should resign his campaign and consider a gig subbing for BOR since he also loves to Bloviate about things that don’t pertain to his realm of knowledge!
I stopped there. That's the problem. We have another "what he meant to say" candidate.
I'm sure he's a good man. He's just not able to communicate his thoughts in an articulate way and THAT is the problem.
