Let's go there:

if Obama thinks he's losing, will he allow safe and fair elections on November 6? And if he does lose, will he peacefully turn over power to Mitt Romney on January 20, 2013? Or will he cling to power "by any means necessary," as a highly placed insider alleges?

That's the question recently posed by retired Major General Jerry Curry in the Daily Caller, in light of horrifying reports that the Social Security Administration is buying 174,000 rounds of hollow-point bullets for distribution to 41 locations in the U.S.

According to Major General Curry, Social Security's ammo spree follows the purchase by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of 46,000 rounds of hollow-point ammunition.

Most terrifying of all, Major General Curry reports that the Department of Homeland Security ordered 750 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition in March, then subsequently ordered an additional 750 million rounds, including bullets capable of penetrating walls.

"This is enough ammunition to empty five rounds into the body of every living American citizen," ....

I strongly suggest that you read Major General Curry's article for yourself, so you can appreciate the full horror of what he describes. After pointing out that Congress has done nothing to investigate these weapon purchases, Major General Curry, a 40-year veteran, concludes with these chilling words:

I fear your right. Whether he loses or not, I suspect one of the 1st orders of business after Nov. 7th, will be to sign an executive order for an AW Ban. He’s been holding back on this issue because of Democrats in congress being pressured by 2nd Ammendment constituents at home, but it will be Katy-Bar-The-Door after this time. Even more frustrating, if by some chance Romney wins(I have my doubts), Romney probably will not have the courage to reverse it.

I don't think it's Barack personally- I think he hates being President and all the hassle that goes with it. I think he likes the lifestyle (free vacations, golf outings, free dinners at the finest restaurants, etc.). However, it's his handlers and the Democrats in Congress that want him to desperately cling to power, and THEY'LL be the ones that try something if something's actually done.

To tell the truth, the "won't let go of his power" thing has been around for a long time. Bedwetting flagburners were claiming that Ronald Reagan wouldn't leave peacefully.

Geez. Did Sarah Brady write this crap? All bullets are lethal. Would it be OK if they bought .45 ACP hardball? While it is alamring that NOAA and the SSA have armed agents, the truth is that the 174,000 rounds are for 295 officers (approx 700 rounds per officer) and the annual range qualification for a federal officer uses about that many rounds.

The sad reality is that Obama’s work is done here. The economy is in a shambles, race relations are at a new low, the military is infested with “loud and proud” sodomites, and America is weakened in the eyes of allies and enemies. Why would he want to keep the reins of this country when the UN is probably planning to make him the next Sec-Gen prior to his coronation as king of the world.

I’m more concerned with what millions of unemployed and angry “Holder’s People” will do when their messiah loses than what 295 SSA and 75 NOAA officers will do. Obama promised them that America would be the new South Africa or Zimbabwe and that’s a promise that he didn’t deliver.

Whew, that's a relief! It sure is a good thing there aren't any active actual conspiracies connected to our current pResident.

Just because these enemies of the Republic have proven too inept to successfully implement (all of) their nefarious schemes does not mean that the have abandoned such aspirations. They got "Obama" elected and coddled through going on four years "in office" despite would-be scandals that would have nuked any other presidency onto the ash heap of history, and in short order, didn't they?

These people are literally capable of anything that they are allowed to get away with, and from where I'm sitting, they're getting with a breathtaking number of unconstitutional things that it would appear only the electorate has a chance of halting. If, that is, the electorate is actually heeded.

We'll see. I hope that rumors of the demise of the Rule of Law are proven premature, and America will survive and come away from the "Obama" experience with a renewed love of country and our founding principles.

First though, we have to survive "Obama" handling the levers of Executive power.

Obama has been aggressively remaking our military and turning it into a much more leftist organization. The old guard is being driven out and the Muslims, pink mafia and Obama loyal command structure installed. Much of the new military might well fire on US citizens who oppose their Dear Leader IMO.

Sure, Slick was pretty questionable, and there was plenty of reason not to trust him, but did he have the DHS? (no)

Was there a huge ammunition order for domestic agencies? (again, no.)

Nor had Slick Willie commented that he 'wanted a private army, as well trained and equipped as the US Army'

Those factors may well indicate cause for concern.

He can’t do an AW ban by executive order. A law has to be passed by the legislature for that. He would have no authority to enforce it. I don’t doubt that he might do some silly crap before leaving the WH, that won’t be one the things he’s likely to try.
