Republican Gay-Rights Group, GOProud, to Throw Party at RNC
Broward/Palm Beach New Times ^ | Fri., Aug. 17 2012 | Chris Joseph

Posted on 08/22/2012 12:38:25 PM PDT by nickcarraway

The 2012 RNC is about to get faaaaabulous!

The gay conservative group GOProud will hold its Homocon 2012 event following the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

"Homocon 2012 will be the must have ticket for the RNC," the executive director and cofounder of GOProud, Jimmy LaSalvia, says on the group's website.

The event will include a number of conservative guest speakers, including Grover Norquist; Breitbart.com contributors Dana Loesch and Mike Flynn; and a former chair of the American Conservative Union and vice chair of CPAC, David Keene.

GOProud proudly proclaims on its website that it is the only gay conservative group to endorse Mitt Romney. We're not sure if that's because it is the only gay conservative group in existence (Log Cabin Republicans, can you hear us?) or because Romney's record on gay rights is shitty.

Says LaSalvia about Mitt: "We think that jobs, the economy, health care, retirement security, and taxes are all 'gay issues,' and on every single one of those issues, Mitt Romney is light-years better than President Obama."

And yet, ironically, Mitt Romney is still stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to gay equality.

GOProud cofounder and chief strategist Christopher R. Barron says that Homocon is a place where the GOP can showcase that it is totally down with the gays (except that it's not, in any way shape or form, but hey... LET'S PARTAY!): "Homocon 2012, like our previous events, will be more than just a party. It is an opportunity to show where the conservative movement is -- and where it is going -- in regards to the inclusion of gay people."

Brietbart.com -- who figures prominently in Homocon 2012's festivities this year -- insists that Romney is a friend to gays because, as this "ON THE RECORD" post says, he totally treats them humanely. Which, we suppose, is a step up from the way he treats dogs.

Yet, the record shows, over and over again, that Romney is far from being a friend to the gay and lesbian community:

-- RoboRomney believes marriage should exist only between a man and a woman.

-- He urged the adoption of a Massachusetts constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.

-- He kept the fight to delay same-sex marriage in his state going. 'Cause there ain't no quit in RoboRomney!

-- ''If I have to choose between gay marriages and civil unions, I'll choose civil unions every time.''

-- Keep your meddling government away from my money! The right for two consenting same-sex adults to get married? MEDDLE AWAY!

-- You gays get out of my state, and take your gayness someplace else!

-- When gay marriage was made legal in Massachusetts, Mitt was the first to speak out against it before the Senate. Oh, that Mitt's a tenacious one!

-- Romney's statement to the Senate in that hearing: "Marriage is not an evolving paradigm, as the court said, but it is a fundamental and universal social institution that bears a real and substantial relation to the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of all the people of Massachusetts." Them gays are gonna get married and gay up my state!

-- Oh and Romney blocked an antibullying guide because the guide had the words bisexual and transgender in it.

The GOProud folks might be all fired up to support their man Mitt. But ask Mitt to support them? They're hosed.

Homocon 2012 will be held August 28.

Proud to be Sodomites????? How mentally ill are these people who try to normalize such debasing behavior—for the “children” so they see this activity being rewarded and praised in culture-—which will form their worldview of Right and Wrong. We do not want to *return* to a homosexual culture like Ancient Greece where women are treated like breeders and boys/men are used for comaraderie and recreation. Women were segregated, they had child sacrifice (whoops, that’s allowed today)-—much like in homosexual Afghanistan where boys are put in harems.

Slavery is rampant in these sexist societies-—as unequal rights and debasement of children always occurs. It will destroy Christian Ethics-—the Ethics all Founders thought were essential to teach in public schools to retain freedom and promote Virtue-—the essential element of a Republic. The Holy Bible was the main book used in education in our Republic for hundreds of years-—not the Koran or the Analects.

To equate “sodomy” to “love” is mental illness and promoting evil. To force “equality” for VICE in a country based on Virtue-—Justice-—is irrational and evil. Laws have to be Right Reason to be Constitutional.

So, any irrational person that thinks that sodomy HAS to be promoted with Just Law-—is stupid and irrational The last time I read the Constitution, we get our Rights from God-—not Satan and barney frank.

I still don't see any trauma in what Akin has said and why it is such a big deal.

I keep seeing Bill Clinton pointing a crooked finger stating that he didn't have sex.... and got away with it almost scott free and Akin fumbled words and is in a fight for his career.

And Scott Brown gets a pass for saying about the single most anti conservative thing possible.

Scott Brown presses Republicans to be ‘more inclusive’ on abortion

Brown blasts back: I am a pro-choice Republican

It's what Karl Marx advocated.
Yes. It's exactly what the left wants.

Where are the women today? Laboring.
Where are the men? Unemployed.
Where are the little boys? In fisting class.

I really think GOP Gay groups such as Log Cabin Republicans and GOProud pushed their way into the Republican party just to trash it, and to annoy everyone. GOProud was thrown out of CPAC and Homocon should be thrown from the RNC.

Marxism-—Satanism. Both advocate homosexual orgies with little children. It is to abolish all biological connections that children naturally have for a nurturing mother and father. Radical egalitarianism where adults can sexually use children legally and State has control over raising all children. Canada-—after they instituted “gay” marriage, is now demanding the age of consent for boys to be lowered to 14.

Eventually, they will erase all boundaries like in all homosexual societies-—like in Afghanistan where our soldiers are told to look the other way as harems of boys are being sodomized.

This is to desensitize them and normalize the behavior—why the military now embraces and promotes VICE (unconstitutional to promote Vice in a Just system of Law (Justice is a Virtue)-—to ditch Christian Ethics—the main Ethical system which created the greatest country on earth.

Without Virtue—our military will be just like the sodomites in the SA Brownshirts and Hitler’s officer friends-—like the Atheist Russian military which even made Patton puke-—how immoral and evil they were.

The GOP gets more homo with each passing day. Only a couple of days ago, there was something on FR about the Republican party officially recognizing the “dignity” of sodomites. Every time I get to wavering and thinking that maybe I should vote for Romney despite myself, I get the message my vote isn’t wanted.

I went back and read the boston.com article again. WTH is the GOP doing, letting the Log Cabin Repubs advise them as the “education committee” on sodomite issues?

Baby killing, amnesty, faggotry, socialized medicine......so glad the Gay Ole Party is presenting another lesser of two evils candidate.

So, it should be no surprise that Romneybama will NOT be getting my vote.

And for those of you waiting to tell me how a non-vote for Romney is a vote for 0bama - save it 0+1 does not = 2.

If you were planning on telling me how I'm self-righteous...well so be it.

If you were planning on telling me that I am going to end the Republic because 0 will be re-elected; I feel bad for you that your candidate only has fear tactics and his platform is "I suck less than the other guy." Or maybe with their 'dignified homos' platform......they suck more than the other guy.

Either way, my viewpoint is counted out and ergo my vote will be as well.

That's the equivalent of screaming "Racist!". It just means they have no valid argument.

BTW I've noticed that all the "brave" conservative talkers who rushed to trash Aikin are strangely silent on Brown.

No, no, no Brown is in Massachusetts, so it's okay to have flexible morals.....Aikin on the other hand is a blight on the all of humanity. /s

The GOP is like a big gust of headwind when you're standing outside taking a leak.
