Last night at approximately 7:30 p.m., Fox New's Carl Cameron was reporting on Mitt Romney's comments that "Nobody has asked to see my birth certificate".
Cameron stated "Romney said Barack Obama's birth certificate is authentic", when what Romney actually said was that he (Romney) believes Obama was born in Hawaii.
Cameron also stated: "Most people think President Obama's birth certificate is legitimate". While this statement may on the surface, be true, it is shameless disinformation. What does it matter what most people think on this issue? Most forensic experts who examine the document have stated there are some obvious flaws in the document that make it likely it was tampered with.
My question to fellow Freepers is this: why is Carl Cameron of Fox News assuming the role of Obama Administration propagandist? Does he feel the pressure from the Administration's FCC? This is blantant disinformation, and it is coming from Fair and Balanced Fox News! Why won't Fox News report the truth on this issue?
I saw that clip and it showed Romney as you said but didn’t Romney also say either he (Obama) was a citizen or that he believed Obama was a citizen? I wasn’t paying 100% attention to the segment.

This issue is the least of my concerns. What bothers me is how FNC Republican channel won’t go near(oppose) the advancement of the Gay agenda.
Birthers made themselves look silly claiming a single Federal judge would order Obama to leave the WH, and then following scam artist Trump (and liberal) who made them look like fools. They hurt their own cause. This issue could have been made useful to hurt Obama but was wasted by fools.

Murdoch’s (owns FOXNEWS) contributions say it all. Glen Beck says we will see the extent of the FOXNEWS leftist beliefs when some of today’s popular FOX conservatives leave or retire. Would these leanings explain why no one there is ALLOWED to discuss Obama’s eligibility to be president? The danger America is in cannot even be imagined.

As someone who had been FOX deprived for about 8 years, just this year I got a new satellite service, G-Sat.
Prior to G-sat, there was only Dreamsat which carried only
Commie News Network International and British Babble Corp.
The G-sat has FOX and Aljazera, and NO CNN or BBC.
Frankly, I was amazed at how good they are at bashing Obumbo and the Commies.
Yes, they have their token Marxist, Beckel (sp) Colms, and a few others, but all in all, I have been quite impressed.

Murdochs donations to Obama could very well be a tactical move to quell screams from the Left over how “biased” FNC is towards the right.
To be frank, at this stage of the game Obama’s eligibility is not an issue in his reelection. In fact it is a distraction from the all important message of the economy and jobs.
Nothing will come of the accusations over his eligibility. He will NOT be removed from office because of it even if definitive proof is uncovered and published. The reason I believe this is I don’t think the Congress or the Courts have the courage to do the right thing even when it is so important it be done.
The night of the election Bush v. Gore Cameron stood outside Gore’s place just blubbering and sobbing. Please. How he even kept his job after that is amazing. How he even is allowed to be a journalist after that is amazing.
Fox News have their talking point that Obama’s birth certificate is legit and they all stay on that message. It’s disappointing from a news organization that says they’re “fair and balance”.

Fox is a shill for the Republican party, but given that the party is infested with liberals, Fox is going to tout the liberal agenda. It was particularly evident when Fox annointed Mitt Romney as the nominee before the first primary was held. Oh, it gave air time to other candidates, but it was all for show. Watch the interviews and the commentary on the other candidates. You can see it was all skewed in favor of the Republican liberals’ favorite candidate.
Roger Ailes calls the shots at FNC. He’s not interested in the birther issue or any other so called speculative issue. That was made plain when he got rid of Glenn Back.

I know you are exactly correct about this. It is just so hard for me to experience the trashing of our Constitution with barely a whimper from our Congress, our courts and the big microphones. Also, the double standard is so stark in the case of Obama, whom we really know very little about. My family will be going to see “Obama’s America” this weekend. Drudge says it is #1 at the box office now..We will see whether it makes any difference to people who seem not to understand that we are losing our country. I could never have imagined a time in my life when we would have a President who was not allowed to be vetted.

And, it is sort of like the “elephant in the room.” Almost everyone who is even slightly informed wants to know who Obama really is. Perhaps he is eligible..We just need to know. There have been so many lies and half-truths and very little history where classmates, girlfriends, boyfriends, friends or neighbors have come forth to endorse the fact that he is who he says and that he was where he claims to have been during certain periods of his life. I believe many Americans are very nervous about all that and rightly so.
Legislation needs to be passed requiring ALL candidates whose office can only be held by what is deemed a natural born citizen to produce irrefutable proof of said citizenship when they submit all the other paperwork necessary to declare themselves a candidate.
To date there is a requirement stating only such citizens can occupy the WH but no mechanism to require the candidate to provide proof of being a natural born citizen.

Fox strikes me as “soft left,” meaning it is still to the Left, but not s much as the other networks. Still, Fox seems to take every opportunity to advance RINOs and to attack conservatives. They may have a few shows like Glenn Beck, but for the most part, their reporting and commentary has many of the same biases as the other networks.

It’s the only news outlet that I watch on TV but it appears based on a lot of post here that it’s not “right” enough.
They do, in my opinion at least provide two sides to arguments most of the time althought I’ll never agree with the liberal scum.
Hannity, Greta, O’Rielly are not news by any means it’s commentary. I won’t watch Sheppard Smith because he’s about as flaming as it gets. I like the Five but Bob Beckel is an idiot and his main addiction is leftist stupidity not drugs and alcohol.
Not sure what folks are looking for on TV news wise but outside of putting on your own personal news show that’s all about them and their own opinions all the time is an impossible task.

I don’t believe it is an accident that Andrew Breitbart dropped dead on the day of Arpaio’s first presser about the eligibility issue, less than 5 hours after Breitbart had spoken with Arpaio and told him Arpaio’s info was good and that he was glad Arpaio was bringing it into the open.
I also don’t believe it was an accident that Rush Limbaugh received what he perceived as a bomb threat - including reference to 2 famous assassinations - on the same day.
Nor do I believe it is coincidence that all of the major media refused to report Arpaio’s actual evidence leading him to conclude that the long-form BC is a forgery, that Obama was referred to by Bill Ayers’ parents as a foreign student that they were helping, and that Obama’s draft registration is a forgery perpetrated by the Selective Service Administration itself.
Nor does it surprise me now, that even though HI registrar Alvin Onaka has actually confirmed through a legal document that Obama’s HI birth record is not legally valid, the media didn’t bother to even understand what Onaka actually said and so they reported the exact opposite.
The legal fact of what Onaka did doesn’t just go away though, and people will soon be made aware of that. Including the dinosaur media.

I think it was Baer who explained that the previous poll showing the big Obama lead was the LAST of the “registered voter” (RV) polls and the newest poll showing the Romney lead was the FIRST of the “likely voter” (LV) polls.
LV polls are much more expensive than RV polls because they require numerous additional questions of each person polled to filter out the persons who are registered but NOT likely to vote. Rasmussen is the only major poll that is always LV and has always had Barry capped in the mid-40’s (losing!). Now Fox's first LV poll confirms that.
In the final months of the campaign several of the large polls switch from doing RV polls to LV polls. The average of polls on RCP (a mash-up of RV and LV) will increasing show Romney improving as the RV polls are washed out or overwhelmed by the more accurate LV polling, IMO.
Regarding FOX anti-birther stance, Ailes is about winning, as is the GOP-e and threatened or not. Absent a new revelation of evidence that Barry was born in Kenya, the moderate swing voters needed to drag Romney over 50% cannot be educated or persuaded by the “birther” issue prior to the election on the BC forgery claim alone, given the failure in the courts and suppression and Alinski mockery in the MSM, so GOP-e is focusing on Barry's record in office.

Actually, some of that constitutes false advertising, on the part of Fox “NEWS”, “OPINIONS”, including this one are not “NEWS”. The media has been disguising opinions as news for quite some time now and they should not be allowed to do that, raised eyebrows and dumb looks should not be a part of “NEWS”.
I mostly care about whether or not a “media outlet” even reports a given story or not, or gives it adequate coverage time.

If they can find out who is a registered voter, they can find out who voted in the last general and primary elections.
That is more reliable information than just asking them, they could lie.
I would prefer to defeat Obama based on his positions on the issues, his policies, the things that he has done, etc. I actually think he was physically born in the U.S., but grew up with a value system that is very contrary to that which this country was founded upon. He doesn’t believe the U.S. is exceptional - he doesn’t believe in private property rights - he doesn’t believe in limited government, etc. It is these issues that we must focus on. Even Dinesh D’Souza said he believes that Obama was born in Hawaii - but no one will ever accuse D’Souza of being on Obama supporter.
Propaganda and disinformation are both evil. It is scary as an American to see how easy it is for the media to mislead the American people. Most people do not question what they are told by the MSM, or if they hear it enough they will believe it.
