With Mitt, perhaps some were waiting to see the GOP truly put their official blessing on him. Is there any way the Dems could mutiny on Barack?

rasmussens poll of electorral college is worrisome, has anybody looked at that. Seems Mitt has a big climb to get to the 270.

But we all know damn good and well that O&B isn’t about to undertake any meaningful reform

Agree.
Athough, I keep wishing it was November 7th and Obama is defeated.
I doubt seriously a lame duck Obama is going out without doing as much damage as possible.
So, then I want to skip ahead to Jan 21st,2013 and Obama is out!!!
I’m no done skipping, yet. I would like to skip ahead to Jan 2014 so, I know if President Romney is going to be a big let down or not.
If he is then skip to Jan 21st,2017...
If I keep skopping along I am going to skip my life away hoping we get real leadership that will do what is needed.

The biggest asset he has in his favor is Bill Clinton speaking and the folklore of how wonderful the Clinton years were.

Clint Eastwood was the best thing about the convention. No telling how many votes switched from Obama to Romney as a result of Eastwood saying things about Obama and Biden that politicians are afraid to say............especially Romney.

And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see nothing good looking about his wife. She was nice looking as a young woman, but looks every day of 63 years. And from what I have seen of her on TV she wears the pants in the family, not Willard. Just my observations. With all that said, Romney will still be a 1000 times better than the amateur we have now and his wife will damn sure be an improvement over the horse-faced looking communist he calls his wife.

Who are all these people voting for Obama?

I spent last weekend at a wedding with an uber liberal group. Both bride and groom work on the hill, for democratic congressmen.

Funny thing was, although we love hearty political debates, Obama’s name didn’t even come up. Not once. Nada.

People are embarrassed.

Embarrassed but will still vote for him, right? That’s the sad part.

I look forward to the Clinton speech because

1) Bill doesn't know how to shut up.

2) Bill is always all about himself.

This is a tsunami. Obama politically slaughtered in November. Then riots must be out down hard. No mercy.

High point back in May. Stayed ahead in June and most of July and then in August enjoyed a 3-4 percent lead. Along comes late August and into September and Mitt is down. Now up 3-4 points again, after announcing Ryan, and after the convention and people want to cheer and tout this???

To me it’s very troubling. Especially when the CNN and MSNBC folks are doing their best to say we are doing better four years later ad nauseum and the convention is beginning. There will be a full court press for the next two months to tell everyone how great Obama is and how great things are and how the lying Ryan and evil Mitt will make things go backwards. We should have had a 10 point lead coming out of the convention. It absolutely boggles my mind with how rotten things are in employment land, our credit rating, the price of gas, ect etc etc.
