CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A last-minute plan to house the homeless who might be displaced during the Democratic National Convention has many in the faith community scrambling for volunteers.

**SNIP**

Hanneman wrote that at least 150 beds – a “best guesstimate” – could be needed each night from Aug. 24 through Sept. 7, the day after the DNC ends.

“These … include people who are homeless and sleeping in center city Charlotte, and families living in motels who are being displaced before and during the DNC,” Hanneman wrote in his email.

This is from a few weeks ago. Things are much better now.

Democratic National Convention to leave hundreds homeless
“I work all day for $60,” Eric Jones, who predicts that each night in his motel room could end up costing his full daily income, told the Los Angeles Times. “Why am I going to pay $60 for a room? Then I won’t have enough to spend on food or anything.”

He should be speaking at the convention. Come to think of it; how is a homeless person going to be displaced by the convention?

How about sending the homeless to Pelosi and Reid’s houses? They’re so concerned abut the poor. Aren’t they? Just like Barry worries about his brother in the hut.

Wait? I thought homelessness only occurred when a Republican was president?

Yup,that's what happened when the Rat Convention was held in Boston.Mayor “Mumbles” Menino cleared out all the homeless.Of course,if it was the *Republican* Convention being held there Mumbles would have shipped in homeless from the entire Eastern time zone.

This is SOP for Democrats, who are the biggest hypocrites around when it comes to “compassion”. Rush ridiculed the Dems for sweeping the streets of the homeless when the DNC was in NYC years ago. “Snerdly” held some hilarious Man on the Street interviews on the subject, and “Frog Man Henry” provided the theme song “Lookin’ for a Home.”

Terms not seen in the MSM since Jan 09:

“homeless problem”

“McJobs”

“recovery for Wall $treet but not Main Street”

The Dems are worried about filling up the stadium on Baraq's coronation night.

I'm thinking they'll offer double EBT for 6 months and a section 8 housing voucher in the city of your choice as incentives, LOL.

Their concern is motivated only because they know the WSJ and Fox News will be watching.

Yep, imagine how embarrassing it would be, if Obama didn’t have a full stadium that night?

What will they do if it rains?

Are they going to have Greek columns again???

Issue the homeless delegate badges and let them stay in the convention center. They would fit right in at the DNC freak show, and they can vote to renominate the Kenyan Marxist who helped make them vagrants.

Isn’t the DNC delegate body required by rule to be 50% men and 50% women?

A sudden influx of male bums would mess up the ratio.

Maybe they could declare them all transsexuals and put them in whatever category needs shoring up.

Uh. (I always start with “uh”.) I think the homeless in the city are not Democrat convention attendees. They live there - on the streets - all the time. - Just like everything else, the Democrats are only concerned with getting them “out of sight” during the convention (that’d look bad for Barack, you see), then after the Democrat lovefest is over, it’s back to business as usual.

Homeless are only important to Democrats once every 2 or 4 years. Other times they are just tools to use whenever they can embarrass a Mayor, City Councilman, County Manager, or a Republican President.

To Democrats, even these people are too stupid and too lazy to trot down to a welfare office and get their SSI, TANF, SNAP, Section 8, etc. in a one-stop shopping experience. To have these dredges clutter up their self-love fest for Obama is unthinkable.

Notice that their plan to house the homeless also includes putting them back out on the street a day after their convention ends.

What was that about Don't Rain on My Parade?

Weather Underground is predicting rain and thunder storms every day next week in Charlotte with a 50% chance of rain Thursday night. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of scumbags.
