I’m always amazed by people who can speak for every other person. He may just have a busier life than you do. I find this to be nothing of import. BTW I used to work in the fitness field and many of my cohorts were runners and some did run marathons. I am QUITE familiar with how obsessive they were.
I clicked over to HLN news this morning just for a laugh and got one. They were running a story about Condi Rice having lipstick on her teeth during her speech.

Marathons, I think, are exactly 26.2 miles....to represent the distance between Athens and Marathon, Greece.
Maybe it was a composite marathon like Obama’s girlfriend in his book. All it takes is 461.12 100yd. dashes @13 seconds each to do a marathon in one hour forty minutes.

Usually the winner of most marathons can do it in 2 hrs and 10 minutes.

That's a question I've always wondered about. Back in that time frame, international air travel was VERY expensive, essentially for the wealthy. Everybody else went by ship.
