As Election Day approaches, President Obama is sharing a few important things about himself. He has mentioned more than once in recent weeks that he cooks a really mean chili. He has impressive musical pitch, he told an Iowa audience. He is a surprisingly good pool player, he informed an interviewer not to mention (though he does) a doodler of unusual skill.

It’s even rumored he started at point guard while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA at Columbia. All admired how hot his girlfriends were, too.
The Empty Chair thinks it’s a BarackaLounger.
“Its even rumored he started at point guard while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA at Columbia.”
No wonder those records are sealed - it would only make others feel bad about themselves in comparison.
I can see a cartoon, the one and Michele are reading
the want ads, she says, “Honey, this one is perfect
for you! Wanted Presidential Doodler, no experience
necessary, apply to DNC.”
He is Sooooooooooooooo great in his own mind but he still can’t throw a baseball as good as a 7 year old.
Cue up “Youre’ So Vain” by Carly Simon. In fact play it as Barry comes on stage to give his acceptance speech. LOL!!!
I tend to refer to it as Izvestia only because the Washington Post is already Pravda-on-the-Potomac, which naturally makes the NYT Izvestia-on-the-Hudson.
Either way, it is more than a bit unnerving for some who grew up during the Cold War and enjoyed making fun of Commie propaganda... to now see essentially the same thing being repeated in our own increasingly laughable "news" media. Stalin was a world-class hunter. Bagged big game with one shot. Every time. And I know that's true 'cause I heard it on Radio Moscow's World Service.
Mao Zedong was a gifted musician, with a catalogue of world-class orchestral works to his name. And we all know that Kim Jong-Il bowled dozens of 300 games and routinely shot 65 on the golf course. Which isn't quite accurate of course.
Sometimes he had them shot up against a wall.
“I read the article as poking fun....”
I wish I could think that was true. Of course, in a way it is, but the general tone is one of acceptance. Just like it is with Biden: there goes old Joe again, LOL.
But let some republican evince a character flaw, or crack some joke....well that person is then either, stupid, evil or crazy.
So I think we have to read this nonsense as being pro-obama. The fact that it is nearly a parody is just something to marvel at, this piece is intended as praise, not satire.
Sad but true - he is famous for holding a grudge against his “enemies.” Beat him at bowling (or anything else) and you probably won’t be invited back!

Washington (AP) Sports enthusiasts may not be ready to rank tennis as the national pastime, but at the White House, it's The Game.
And while administration tennis buffs aren't comparing Jimmy Carter to Jimmy Connors, they say the President demonstrates the same kind of dogged competitiveness on the tennis court that he exhibited on the campaign trail. ...

You can read stuff like this in the way "Kremlinologists" used to read Pravda. There's an obvious party line. There are some things they aren't going to ever say.
But if you read the articles carefully they did convey by little nuances who was on the rise and who was going to be purged.
If you read this article between the lines, there's something you could take as comical -- something that you can't help but take as comical.
They aren't against Obama, and they aren't going to say anything to try to really hurt his campaign, but the stuff they bring up isn't very flattering.
Oh, I agree! Kantor released her Bamster book around the same time as Klein and I think I was mixing them up, so I didn’t usemy usual defensive reading skills. :)
Good find.
If he can shoot hoops, then why can’t he bowl or throw a baseball ?
Somethings fishy about his prowess.
