Not JFK's democrat party

In 2012 we have not idea who the democrats are but here is where they came from at the time of John Kennedy. At least they seemed human (the last line in this post recognizes God) - unlike today!

National Defense - Most free nations had confidence in our will and our ability to carry out our commitments to the common defense. Even those who wished us ill respected our power and influence. We believe that our armed forces should be organized more nearly on the basis of function, not only to produce greater military strength, but also to eliminate duplication and save substantial sums. We pledge our will, energies, and resources to oppose Communist aggression. The "Image" of America - Our information programs must be more than news broadcasts and boastful recitals of our accomplishments and our material riches. We must find ways to show the people of the world that we share the goals—dignity, health, freedom, schools for children, a place in the sun—and that we will work together to achieve them.

World Trade - World trade is more than ever essential to world peace. World trade raises living standards, widens markets, reduces costs, increases profits, and builds political stability and international economic cooperation. To sell, we must buy. We therefore must resist the temptation to accept remedies that deny American producers and consumers access to world markets and destroy the prosperity of our friends in the non-Communist world. Immigration - In this World Refugee Year it is our hope to achieve admission of our fair share of refugees. We will institute policies to alleviate suffering among the homeless wherever we are able to extend our aid. The Underdeveloped World - To the non-Communist nations of Asia, Africa, and Latin America: We shall create with you working partnerships, based on mutual respect and understanding. The Communist World - We recognize this contest as one between two radically different approaches to the meaning of life—our open society which places its highest value upon individual dignity, and your closed society in which the rights of men are sacrificed to the state. We believe your Communist ideology to be sterile, unsound, and doomed to failure. Economic Growth - The new Democratic Administration will confidently proceed to unshackle American enterprise and to free American labor, industrial leadership, and capital, to create an abundance that will outstrip any other system. Free competitive enterprise is the most creative and productive form of economic order that the world has seen.

An End to Tight Money - A new Democratic Administration will reject this philosophy of economic slowdown. We are committed to maximum employment, at decent wages and with fair profits, in a far more productive, expanding economy. Full Employment - The Democratic Party reaffirms its support of full employment as a paramount objective of national policy. Small Business - "The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home and abroad." The new Democratic Administration will act to make our free economy really free—free from the oppression of monopolistic power, and free from the suffocating impact of high interest rates. We will help create an economy in which small businesses can take root, grow, and flourish. Housing - "The right of every family to a decent home." Today our rate of home building is less than that of ten years ago. A healthy, expanding economy will enable us to build two million homes a year, in wholesome neighborhoods, for people of all incomes. At this rate, within a single decade we can clear away our slums and assure every American family a decent place to live. A Program for the Aging - The Democratic Administration will end the neglect of our older citizens. In this spirit, we hereby rededicate ourselves to the continuing service of the Rights of Man-everywhere in America and everywhere else on God's earth.

Yes - he would be SHUNNED by today’s DNC...

The party of slavery, secession, the KKK, Jim Crow, etc was never anything other than the party of traitors, then and now.

JFK was hype and mythology. He spoke to what he saw as winning votes and not to much other than socialism. He is the myth that never goes away. The 1960 election was narrowly won through massive voter fraud with the direct help of the labor unions and the mob.

The democrats are not our friends, they are not nice people. They have always sought to obtain power over the people of this country by whatever means; they have just adopted newer tactics from their various socialist mentors.

Democrat Party members are not going to change. They will continue to “heil” their Fuehrer with more enthusiasm because they bellieve that they have control within grasp and that nobody will now step forward and prevent them from doing so. They are enemies of the Constitution and the Republic. The dumb downed and bought off mass of democrat voters are too ignorant and lazy to change either so nobody should expect them to step up. Finally the dead and all of the cartoon characters who are registered to vote democrat will continue to vote for the traditional party of voter fraud. The zombie vote is safely democrat. Never assume that any democrat cares about the Constitution or this country. They do not.

Real Democrats started fleeing the Party in the 1970s.

I knew Jack Kennedy's Party. This ain't no party of Truman, JFK, and Humphrey.

I remember Harry Truman, Henry "Scoop" Jackson, and many other real Americans of the early-to-mid 20th Century liberal persuasion --

I knew the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party was a friend of America. The Demobrat Party is no friend of America.

The Democratic Party was kidnapped in the 1970s and today it is owned by aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus psycho spoiled brats and their bratty ideological issue.

Not so, with all due respect.

Look up the core beliefs of the Southern Democrats in the US Congress in the 1950’s and you will find that today’s RINO Party is WAY to the left of them.

“Both” political parties have become the wardens and enforcers of big, oppressive government ideals.

It is great threads such as this that give us the opportunity to pause and reflect. Reflect on the fact that the change has not been noticeable, except when we look far back and compare then to now - - .

We, as a Nation, are content to live on the Welfare Entitlement Plantation and sell out our political core values to keep the “free stuff” flowing into our always hungry, oyster-like mouths.

BTW, T.E.A. anyone?

Have said too often that Repubs should be 'defining' the Dem Party. Many; still; have no idea of the hijacking; and that 'their' Party; that of their parents; no longer exists. Was hoping while knowing 'not'; that someone would speak to this during our Convention.

Meantime; DNC, Debbie-the-mouth, includes in her welcome; the noble tradition to which these most fortunate Democrats belong to and why their carrying on it's tradition; insures the continued greatness of the Demrat Party.

Painful; seeing the tears in eyes; of these believers; who are now; nothing more than the tried/true 'useful idiots' so required for socialist change.

Another opportuntity here for Repubs to quickly educate the needy - not taken.
