If the RNC had any brains, they would call a press conference, and repeat what this lunatic (and others) have said, and ask why the Democrats invited such mentally unstable people to the convention.

Obama-care is a massive monstrosity of targets and so they decide to use the birth control mandate as the cherry pick to put Dems on the defensive. Defensive?? You hear them talking about it now? Except that one moron talking about rape fertility in MO?
Can always count on Krauthammer on the DNC nights. Every night he gets on FNC and poo-poos the Democrats speeches after Britt and the others praise them. Someone needs to.
If reason and truth mattered in this election, people like Kraut might be influential enough to defeat O. But it may boil down to auto bailouts in Ohio and Govt. jobs (and govt.-related-jobs) in Virginia.

GM is one of the many topics that Romney/Republicans avoid talking/debating about. That and social issues and the war and what the tax ‘loopholes’ are in his ‘plan’.
Each topic that he avoids Obama/Dems fill in with their own narrative much like the claim that Romney will raise middle class taxes (instead we all know he will run big deficits like the others but he doesnt want to say that.)
Obama and Dems are also assaulting Romney's character.
In return Romney is playing one card: unemployment with Obama as POTUS,

Here's what I learned the past 3 nights:
That doesnt matter, we have to keep moving forward. Obama has a vision and has faith in the American people. He says our best days are ahead as long as he is re-elected. He says we cant go back.
It is not how good or bad things are NOW that matters but it is how bad he tells us that things were in the past (bad under Bush, he says it was GREAT under BC) that counts as well as how bad he says things will be if he gets defeated. That way we feel grateful to him even if we are on food stamps and welfare because we can imagine ourselves begging and living on the streets under Romney while he gets another HUGE tax cut. Just think how mad that gets you, those filthy rich guys paying for their tax cut by making you homeless with no health care GRRRR! (LOL)
BTW, O inherited the entire 16T$ debt from Bush as well as any future debt and it would be even bigger if it wasnt for Obamam-care.

Maybe Romney and gang are afraid that if he brings up the GM bailout he will sound like Sharron Angle (blame the unemployed) to Ohio voters. Even if he used the fact that the govt. lost money in the deal, it's not clear to me that Ohio voters want to hear the truth. "You want to bail out Wall Street but not US workers!"

‘Bringing it up’ isn't the best way to put it, it would be ‘responding’ to Obama’s GM based attacks on MR. Obama attacks on all those issues and Romney ducks.
Otherwise you hit the head on the nail. GM bailouts are a great idea if deficits don't matter, in fact giving me lots of money is even better.
Once they bailed out the banks they opened that huge hole in their defenses against any other bailouts and handout spending, but heck, I did a vanity rant warning about that at the time Fall 2008.
Well maybe the 16T$ number and the pathetic made up jobs numbers report will put a wet blanket on the Obama DNC bump.
Ford made it..why not GM? why did we need to gain so much debt? Their union was goig broke.
