How about we look back at prior months and the continual negative adjustments to the jobs reports? For instance, the adjustment of July's numbers from +162k jobs down to +141K, a minor 13% adjustment.

Unemployment is dropping because people are giving up (as the article said before it apparently disappeared), and they describe this as “continuing to recover”. They have more talent than I thought if they were able to say that with a straight face.

Last month, the WH said that the uptick in the percentage in unemployment was not relevent - the number of jobs created was ...
Now that the number of jobs created went down, but the unemployment percentage also went down - the WH could not legitimately tout the drop in the percentage of unemployment without looking foolish ...
