When They Come For Your Guns, You Will Turn Them Over
Whiskey & Gunpowder ^ | Aug 1st, 2012 | Jim Karger

“When they come for my gun, they will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands,” is a common refrain I often hear from the Neo-Cons when there is a threat that the US government is going to take their firearms.

And, when I hear this crazy talk, I agree with them openly. “You are right. They will pry your gun from your cold dead hands,” which I often follow with the question, “And where will that leave you except face down in a pool of your own blood the middle of the street, just another dead fool resisting the State?”

Yeah, I suppose. How long do you think they could keep that a secret?

To be kept safe or as hostages for good behavior?

Very good question. I myself would say more as hostages for good behavior than for any real concerns for their safety and to ensure they (law enforcement/military) did their full duty when it came to national gun confiscation efforts and ensure that they do not either desert their posts/fail to show up for work or refuse any and all orders to confiscate the guns of private citizens, like what may happen if their dependents had been taken into custody by 'Patriot' groups and they knew bad things could happen to their loved ones if they continue following orders concerning gun confiscation.

That's the terrible beauty of such a plan: it would, by design, be a bunch of isolated incidents... much like "wrong-number" SWAT-raids, except they have the added advantage of automatically casting the victim into a bad light: he's a felon and having a gun, attempting to buy ammo, defending himself, [etc] are all "bad marks" when conjoined with 'felon.' (Even/especially by a large segment of conservatives.) That he'd really be a felon makes it far less a lie than the "radical militia" we were fed a while back w/ the Huataree. -- Furthermore, like many laws, it can be selectively enforced by Police Chiefs, further reducing the number of would-be incidents: they could let the local authorities slowly turn the heat up on their respective frog-pot.

It would take the general conditioning of "felons cannot have guns" (which is unquestioningly accepted by almost all of the general public) and apply it to furthering gun-control.

“This is the point of the DREAM act. Fill out military with foreigners who have no loyalty to America and no kinship with Americans”

After 174 posts, I believe in my opinion we have a winner.

Infiltrate with invaders from within.

Sign treaties to allow foreigners (SEA treaty) to occupy our soil and establish military facilities. Happening along the Eastern coast now.

NAFTA CAFTA and SHAFTA to open up our borders to allow everything under the sun to pour across our borders to provide supplies lines to invading forces.

Hell, look at the NON-Americans in the the White Hut, the communists, the people that want to destroy us from within. They are not going to use the city flat foot to disarm us and take over the country. Their troops will be in place when they push the button and they will not come “asking” for your weapons.

The 1.3 billion rounds of various calibers distributed through out the different agencys? Sun Tzu says to only fill your wagon once and then use what you find afield this way your army is self sufficient (a circle). What better way to fill a confiscated weapon magazine than from a horde of munition from the person that purchased it. What better circle can there be.

Waco and Ruby Ridge should be the first things that come to mind.

At some point people would notice. They would balk. I’m looking for a number. 1 million? 5 million? 80 million? With 110 million people to disarm it would take a while and statistics on various things would begin to surface. Total number of felons, total number of gun owners, declining gun and ammo sales, sharp rises in court cases and so on.

Civilians resupply military bases with their daily food, fuels, medical supplies and weapons. Never, I mean NEVER believe that any military force in the entire world can defeat the army of COMBAT veterans within the American population. We didn’t earn Purple Hearts in bar fights.

When it comes to fighting always look to the men and women who have the most experience.

It would be so simple that it’s humorous to overnight, create an entire base that couldn’t get twenty feet from a toilet. Ask any crop duster for advice.

... Germany didn’t want to invade Britain,...

Apparently the phrase "Operation Sea Lion" means nothing to you.

Apparently the difference between 1939 and 1940 neans nothing to you. As does planning versus actual desire.

On a related note...

The NOLA confiscations did not last long enough for word to get around. Insofar as it did, seems when it did the operation was shut down from the _inside_ via cops saying “NO!”

Insofar as confiscations did occur, NONE happened with a fight - they were handed over, or just taken from the weak. Those who made clear there WOULD be a fight were left alone. Famous examples are the videos of a little old lady being talked down then overcome to take her .38, vs. paid guards standing with AR15s and a calm “don’t try” look who were then left alone.

What authority did they need in Katrinafied New Orleans?

Whatever authority they thought they had, they didn't have it for long. Insiders voiced enough dissent to shut it down before it got far and public word got around.

You claimed in Post 81 that Germany had no desire to invade England.

Whether Churchill made that particular speech in 1939 or 1940 is irrelevant; he knew years earlier what the Germans were up to.

Too often the question asked is “why won’t you comply?” when it should be “why is compliance demanded?”
